Positive: Very nicely furnished apartment with an extremely comfortable bed. Great location right by the path to the long sandy beach and the most beautiful sunsets.. It's very handy to have a hose outside the door to wash the sand off your feet when you come home from the beach.
Negative: We enjoyed our stay for the first few days but then our keys were stolen along with some personal possessions on the beach. This is a ground floor apartment and there is a keysafe by the front door, but you need the keys to unlock the side gate to the beach so you have to take the keys with you. If you use the back door, there is no key safe outside so you still have to take the keys to the beach. A keysafe outside the back door would be useful. We paid to have the locks changed by an emergency locksmith. Unfortunately, we then accidentally caused a huge amount of damage by leaving a tap on and it flooded the apartment. Sonya was understandably very angry and upset and the atmosphere was strained. We apologised profusely to Sonya and to Matt, who stayed calm and professional, and we came to a financial agreement which we paid it in full within 24 hours of the accident. Sonya is justifiably very proud of her lovely apartments and we are very sorry we that we caused her distress. It was a completely unintentional error.
