Beautifully-furnished two-bedroom, two-bath condo on the quiet north end of Monarch Hills condominium complex, right at the entrance to the walking path down to the beach. The walk is about 1 mile and takes 20 minutes.
The complex is adjacent to the St. Regis Dana Point, one of three five-star hotels and resorts in California. Two others, the Ritz Carlton and the Montage, are nearby. The community of Dana Point is very upscale, and is located convenient to San Diego, Sea World, Disneyland, Los Angeles, and the best dining, shopping, beaches, golf, and tennis in Southern California.
This is a gated community and includes your own covered parking space. This is a ground floor unit with 3 small steps to descend when entering the convenient 1,200 square-foot single-story condo. This relaxing and tastefully decorated condominium is perfect for two couples or a family looking for a beach retreat.
The unit has two 39-inch HDTVs with HD DVD players in both the living room and master bedroom, and a 32 inch HDTV with HD DVD player in the guest bedroom. All TVS have streaming Smart TV options. WiFi is included.
Enjoy meals in the separate dining room or , in the breakfast nook, or outside on the patio table. The kitchen is fully-equipped with dishwasher, microwave, toaster, and all your cooking needs, and a barbecue grill outside. The master bedroom has a queen size bed with your own private bathroom. The second room has a queen bed. Both have spacious walk-in closets. There is a sofa bed in the living room. The condo also has its own laundry room with washer and dryer.

Summary: Just completed a 5-night stay here. The condo is very spacious for a family of 5-6 and located in a gated community. The location is prime and located next to 5 star resorts including the Waldorf and Ritz Carlton. We were able to explore the nearby beaches in Laguna, Newport, and even made a day trip to Universal. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Even enjoyed the games available for a game night. Highly recommend a stay here!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at this property! It truly met all of our needs and more. The home was clean, cozy, and incredibly spacious—perfect for relaxing and spending quality time with family. It had everything we needed to feel right at home, from a well-stocked kitchen to comfortable furnishings and thoughtful touches throughout. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely come back again. Highly recommend!

Summary: More amenities than we could envision. Thoroughly equipped for any family, any ages. Very clean. Perfect location, with access to the harbor, to the beach and all of Orange County's entertainment options.Great valiue.Minor complaint: better to replace the small, cheezy ironing board with a full size one. The small one is virtually unuseable, dangerous even. The iron - my usual complaint topic for lodging facilities -- was awesome. The board, however, was not consistant with the good quality of everything else.

Summary: The place is great for persons with a baby and small children: no stairs, no carpet in living and dining room. Well equipped! Only few minutes to pool and hot-pool, and about 30 min (with 3 year old) down to empty beautiful beach, and 40 min up (adults need less time). We certainly would come again.
