5 Bedroom House in Gulf Trace, Santa Rosa Beach

Bula is a beachfront home with three master (en suite) bedrooms and a private walkover just steps from the waters edge.
The first floor is our "Fun" room. It has a 65" curved TV with surround sound and a L-shaped sofa perfect for the best of movie watching. There is also a bar area with a beverage center and ice maker; a game table for playing cards and boardgames; and a ping pong table. A large full bath with a steam shower completes this floor.
The second floor has a large living space: living room with a gas fireplace; dining room that seats ten, and an elegant seashell chandelier; and, a well-equiped kitchen with a bar that seats four. Behind the kitchen is a large laundry room with washer and dryer, a utility sink, and an extra refrigerator. A beautiful half bath sits across from the stairway. The Master Suite, also located on the second floor, has a king-size bed, a gas fireplace, amazing views, and french doors to the deck. Off the bedroom there is a large walk-in master closet and ensuite bath with two sinks and a separate vanity with a lighted make-up mirror and stool. The walk-in shower for two has a bench seat, a shower head at each end, and a rain can in the middle.
The third floor has four bedrooms--three beachside. Two suites anchor the corners of the house. The Sunrise Suite is on the Southeast corner and has views in both directions, a walk-in closet and a bath with a double vanity, walk-in shower, and private toilet room. The Sunset Suite sits on the Southwest corner and has a beach view as well as a beautiful sunset view. The ensuite bath has a walk-in shower and a private toilet room. The Queen bedroom is in-between the two suites on the beach side of the house and has a Queen-sized bed. This room shares a bath in the hall with the bunk room. The bunk room is on the front of the house and has two sets of bunk beds, each with individual lights for reading. The hall bath has a shower over a tub and a private toilet room. All three beach-side bedrooms on this floor have french doors that lead out to the deck.
The first floor deck is just inches above the sand where you can enjoy a totally unobstructed view of the Gulf. One side of the deck has a swim spa/pool (appx. 14ft. x 8 ft.) The second floor deck has a dining table with seating that will accommodate 10; a conversation area with a love seat, two comfortable chairs and a low table; and off the master bedroom side of this deck we have two chaise lounges for relaxing. The third floor deck has two large swings. The public parts of the house and the decks are all outfitted with speakers and Sonos.
Along the west side of the house private steps lead from the beach to the first floor deck, the grilling area, the outdoor shower, and our great sand room. The sand room is assessable from the outside of the house and is a great area for you to hang wet towels and store sand toys and chairs.
There is NO street parking in Gulf Trace which makes it a very private area. We offer off-street parking for three to four cars.
Due to safety concerns GOLF CARTS are no longer allowed in our neighborhood.
We have security cameras on the outside (only outside!) of the house around the perimeter. All ground floor doors are within sight of a camera as is the driveway and steps to the beach. The camera on the first deck includes a view of the swim spa/pool. There are no cameras on the two upper decks.

Summary: Everything was lovely and clean! Beautifully but simply decorated and the beds were very comfortable! The downstairs area was perfect for early mornings with the little children. It leads outside to the dip pool and to the beach. The pool was cleaned twice while we were there and was great for cooling off. Several of us took advantage of the steam shower downstairs. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking with plenty of room for eating at the big table. Two laundry areas make it easy to wash towels and kids clothes. This house is in a true neighborhood where you can feel comfortable pushing strollers and walking with little kids or biking for older children. The beach is CLOSE! A garage was full of toys and games for the beach which was very appreciated I can’t say enough about this house! We loved staying here!

Summary: We had three generations of our family staying for a week and this property was perfect for all. Loved the location of being close to all the 30A activities but away from all the beach crowds. Highly recommend!

Summary: We loved everything about this beautiful, spacious, well-situated beach house. It was perfect for our multi-generation family vacation. Summary: Our family stayed at the home for a week. The home was immaculate and well maintained. Carla provided us a ton of info and tips about the surrounding area that kept us occupied. The sand and water is some of the best we have experienced in comparison to the beaches we have vacationed at in Hawaii, Mexico and the Bahamas. We will definitely be returning!

Summary: Perfect location. Location adjacent to state park was private, but excellent access to anything we needed. Lovely home with gorgeous views. Spacious, clean and modern. The home had every amenity. As we had never used VRBO before, the property owner was accommodating with all of our pre-holiday questions and concerns. Recommend without any reservations.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at the beautiful Bula house! Comfortable, well equipped, and beautifully decorated this place was just perfect. Surrounded by the state park, this place is a dream if you are looking for a quieter and more private beach vacation. We loved how close it was to the water and how you could sit on the porches and feel like you were right on the beach. Overall, a 5 star stay! Lastly, a shout out to the owner, Carla, and her management team for their quick responses to questions and overall wonderful friendliness! We would stay here again and again!

Summary: We loved this house! It was perfect for our family. It has the best views from the bedrooms and the swings were a favorite. Anytime we had a question or small problem, Carla or the 30A team were quick to respond and take care of the problem. They were a pleasure to deal with. We Will definitely be returning!

Summary: This home was perfect for our family. My husband and I and our daughter’s family (kids ages 5,2,1) found it to be everything we hoped for—in a quiet community, beachfront and just steps to the water, and because of its location beside a park it was basically our own private beach. Because our grandkids are not really swimmers, the small sports pool was just right. They would play on the beach in the mornings and then when it was very hot in the afternoon they would enjoy time in the covered pool area. We also spent much of our time on the porch where we enjoyed spectacular views. The home itself was perfect for us— clean, well-equipped, nicely decorated. Lastly, the property management company was very responsive when we had to call about some minor issues. We definitely hope to return here!
