These series of beachfront “Honeymoon Cottages,” designed by architect Scott Merrill, who at one time was Seaside’s town architect, and inspired by President Thomas Jefferson as he built Monticello. These Gulf front cottages are the perfect setting for a romantic retreat. Perched perfectly behind the primary dune along the Gulf of Mexico, each cottage is furnished with a comforting neutral palette.

Beachfront 8 - "Firefly" is a gem amongst these gulf-front Seaside cottages. The interior features ceiling fans throughout. Newly renovated first floor features king bedroom with a wall mounted LCD TV, built-in closets and drawers, bathrobes, two bedside reading lamps and side chair with lamp. Leading from the bedroom are French doors to a private dune level shuttered porch with a soaking tub, 2 side chairs and table – another great place to relax. The porch offers complete privacy. The newly renovated bathroom has marble topped vanity sink and a walk-in shower. The renovation also added a stackable washer / dryer. The second floor offers a small fully equipped kitchenette with dishwasher, frig, freezer, microwave, toaster oven and dining table. The living room features a wood-burning stove-style fireplace, LCD TV/DVD with HD cable, wireless internet, comfortable sectional sofa and coffee table. A French door off the living room opens to a covered porch complete with 2 cocktail height chairs and table as well as a comfortable outdoor sectional sofa overlooking the beautiful Gulf of Mexico.

Our vacation rental guests in Seaside have access to 3 pools, 6 tennis courts, croquet courts and a private fitness center. You’ll also find ample opportunity for biking, hiking and swimming. When staying in our homes in Seaside you are within walking distance of many restaurants and retail establishments.

Firefly - Beachfront 8 is a perfect setting for couples celebrating a honeymoon, anniversary or birthday. Please note, we do not allow guests under age 25.
