2 Bedroom Cottage in Surfside Beach, Surfside

My house is located steps from the beach. It is a 2 bdrm 1 bath with shower, washer and dryer. Each bedroom has 1 Queen bed, and a day bed in the sunroom and 2 mats and bedding for children to sleep on. If you love birdwatching, people watching, fishing, boating, swimming, surfing, or walking on the beach, then you will love it here. You can watch the dolphins playing out front. You can watch the ships come in or watch the shrimp boats making their catch. Hunt for seashells or just relax and feel the sand between your toes.
I am set up to sleep four adults and 2 children, 2 couples or 1 small family. Pets are allowed with a pet fee.
This is a true beach experience, my home is located in the dunes, with a variety of dune grasses. I do not mow. The dunes are the front line defense against storms, bull tides, and hurricanes.
I also participate in the dark skies program, for star gazing, and to see the space station. I have solar lights and flashlights. There is no porch light. Only solar lights.

Summary: The property is as described. We had a wonderful, relaxing short stay. You cannot beat the location with the house right on the beach. The views with the added bonus of dolphins makes this property priceless.

Summary: Our trip didn't go as planned by any stretch, but this little beach house was perfect. It is about 50 yards to the water from the front door. It was ready when we got there and all it took was getting the keys out of a lock box and opening the door. The house is very well taken care of and furnished with pretty much everything you need for your stay. Two rocking chairs on the front deck overlooking the gulf are a great place to just relax and soak it all in. Donna the property manager/owner was fantastic. We definitely plan on going back.

Summary: We stayed at SeaHagg last summer and we loved it. We went back this summer and we still love it! The little cottage has everything you need and is very clean and comfortable. The cottage is so close to the beautiful beach. Donna is a superb and wonderful host. If something is not working correctly or is worn out she will take care of it immediately. Heavy rain came in one night and she checked on us to make sure we were ok. I give her ten thumbs up! Thank you Donna for a wonderful time and see you next August “2023”! Carol and family

Summary: The Sea Hagg literally felt like home the moment we stepped across the threshold. It is cute, quaint, and literally right on the beach. It's location is the perfect spot to have morning coffee and watch the sunrise, and/or watch moonbeams dance with the waves at night (depending on what phase the moon is in of course). The house gently rocks you to sleep with its unique lullaby every night so you can dream of building sandcastles in your dreams. The layout of the house is cozy with just the right touch of personal space. If you're looking for a place that feels like home with the bonus of the beach at your feet, this is the house.

Summary: This was the perfect little spot for my family of 5! The location was perfect. You cannot get any better than being directly on the beach! It was a quaint little cottage! Although you cannot drink the water in the cottage, Donna provided plenty of bottled water for my family. We absolutely loved the convenience of having a shower outside the cottage to rinse off before going inside. We were also able to park directly in front of the cottage with the $12 annual pass that you may purchase at the entrance of the beach or at a convenience store. Donna even allowed us to check in early since the guests that were there before us left early, and the cottage was cleaned in ample time to allow us to check in earlier than 4 p.m. My children were able to experience the beautiful sunrise directly from the cottage. This will definitely be a place where we will return! The cottage gave us everything that we needed and the beach gave us the memories and relaxing moments to unwind and soak up the sun. Thank you Donna for being an amazing host and sharing your cottage with us! Look forward to seeing you gain next summer!

Summary: We will definitely be returning! The location of this house is perfect! More than enough room for a Family of 3 & our Dog, u can Walk right out onto the beach, there’s 2 restaurants/bars with a 2 min walk each way. We didn’t need any beach gear since the house was on the beach. We we’re able to go out into the water anytime we wanted & we were able to do it several times a day. The Seahagg is a cute little house perfect for a good time.
