Come and enjoy one of Vancouver Island's hidden gems, Ships Point! This beautiful oceanfront house is the perfect sanctuary for a getaway. You'll be leaving so relaxed that you'll never want to leave. The 3 bedroom property is fully equipped with everything that you'll need!
The house is a beautiful, cozy oceanfront property that you just can't beat. It has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a fully stocked kitchen with everything you'd ever need.
We are pet friendly! Love animals.
We also have a fireplace in the tv room, so at the end of the day you can light a fire and get all cozy while watching a movie.
We are surrounded by beautiful beaches, wonderful hikes and many more outdoorsy activities!
The famous Fanny Bay oysters can be bought only a few minutes away as well!
Every need has been anticipated, with extra beach towels and chairs, board games, books and magazines, and outdoor games. The huge deck facing the water is perfect for sunrise breakfasts and sunset dinners.

Summary: This is a spacious home in a great location - right on the waterfront with a lovely garden leading to the shore - and in a very quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. Herons, seals, birds - peace, water and mountain views. Lovely. This is a 1970's ? home - or thereabouts - so if you are looking for new granite countertops etc, don't come here. It's dated, and has some tatty elements, BUT it is spacious, it's well equipped, the beds are comfy, there's plenty of hot water, and the outside deck is just perfect for eating outside. We were disappointed to only have 1 towel provided per couple, and the pillows were old, but if you bring your own towels and pillows, this is a lovely house to stay in for a relaxed family vacation where the dog is welcome too. We hope to go back again :)

Summary: Amazing place for a family vacation! The house is big, bright (these huge windows!), and well stocked with everything necessary for the stay. The backyard has some mature trees, so lots of nice shade that we loved during the latest heat wave, and direct access to water - the slope is gentle, so water is shallow for a while and then gets deeper for comfortable swimming or paddle boarding. Our kids loved that. There is even a swing in the yard! The house is close to an awesome seafood restaurant, a ferry to Denman Island, and only 20 minutes drive from Courtenay. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back!

Summary: Our family stayed at Fanny Bay for about a week and didn't want to leave! Wished we had booked a couple of days longer! Large house with everything you need in a quiet location with great water access and a fantastic backyard with lots of trees. Check-in was super easy and the communication with Matt was great too. I spoke to Matt prior to our arrival and he was so kind to provide some tips for things to do in the area. We had one little hiccup there was a part of the BBQ that needed to be replaced but after reaching out to Matt he sent somebody to take care of it within a couple of hours. The house is a bit older but in a comfortable way and it was definitely the best-equipped cottage we have ever been to with e.g., extra beach towels, laundry/dryer, some kitchen staples, boogie boards, and even some outdoor kids’ toys and more. There were only small things that could use minor repairs or a quick check before new arrivals get in; the screen door for the patio was missing, the door in the downstairs bathroom kept coming out of its rail and in one of the drawers in the downstairs bedroom, somebody had forgotten some personal items. However, the location and property with direct water access and the beautiful view across the bay far outweighed any of these minor flaws. We definitely will be back!

Summary: We stayed for 3 days and the views from the deck and yard we awesome. The property is like a diamond in the rough and with a few improvements would be outstanding. We enjoyed our stay and visited with many friends in the area. Lots of bird watching and wildlife sightings! Thanks,
