Summary: Hornby island is perfect for those needing to just have a quiet escape. This cabin is definitely rustic, but very quiet and cozy. It was a wonderful chance to just disconnect from busy life outside.Our only suggestion would be to update the mattress as it caves in the centre.Would stay again!

Summary: Very cute little cabin to rest for a week. Very close to the ferry terminal but you’ll have to drive to get to Tribune Bay for the beach. It’s only a 10mn drive! Martin is really helpful if you need anything. It was my second time staying at the cabin and I had a lovely resting time.

Summary: As the description specifies, it is a rustic cabin and this is exactly what you are getting. It is fine for people who need a place to sleep and are busy exploring the island and it's many hiking and biking trails. The cleanliness is minimal and it depends what your standard is, but overall we had a great time at the island and the cabin served us well.

Summary: Host and family are very friendly and interested in ensuring you have a good stay. Cabin is small, but has all amenities - shower, toilet/sink, stove , small fridge.... All cutlery there. BBQ is easy to use. Umbrella on deck provides lots of shade. Some of the 4 stars that I gave are because, it is a cabin. It was clean, but it was a cabin.

Summary: My husband and I had a fabulous time. The cottage is so cute, comfy and well equipped. Loved barbecuing and overlooking the ocean from the patio....wasn't expecting such a lovely view from the property. Owner is super nice and welcoming. We definitely will come back to Hornby and we have found our little getaway cottage when there!
