Come relax in this secluded getaway on the shore of amazing Lake Michigan. The property boasts 100 feet of waterfront, which provides a calming backdrop to your activities. Watch the sun rise from the porch while you have your coffee, and fall asleep to the gentle sound of waves. The living room provides a gorgeous view out over the lake. Although the house feels tucked away in nature, it is close to everything! Sturgeon Bay, Sister Bay and Fish Creek are just a 20-minute drive from the house. It’s even convenient to get to Lambeau Field to see the Packers only an hour away. Cave Point County Park and Whitefish Dunes State Park are just minutes away, as well as local businesses offering lots of outdoor activities in the area. The location offers simple access to the many restaurants, theaters, and festivals that Door County has to offer.
The house has two bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms, as well as a kitchen and dining area, and a large deck. In the summer, use the outdoor shower to rinse off after a dip in the lake. A grill is available during warm weather for the perfect cookout, followed by a bonfire in the outdoor fire pit. There is free high-speed internet and smart TV, self check-in, and free parking. Summary: We enjoyed our stay. The view of the lake was wonderful. We were able to kayak right from our own little beach, just down the stairs. The landscapes you see from the water are lovely. The great room is nicely and uniquely decorated and comfortable. The steep stairs to the kitchen were OK for us but might be challenging for some.

Summary: The cottage was nice and clean. However, we did have concerns with safety. The stairs in the cottage are very steep, and there is only one hand rail. We did not attempt to even try to go down to the beach because the stairway did not look safe or sturdy. The pictures of the stairway to the beach were deceiving. If these item are upgraded then I would say this cottage is terrific.
