Lovely place to build a memorable experience. It is where you want it to be! Calvert Co. Is surrounded on East side by the Chesapeake Bay and on the West by the Patuxent River.
Charming 1947 cottage, the integrity of the property has been preserved for you to enjoy. A wrap around front porch greets all who visit and then you will enjoy the original moldings, high ceilings, french doors and the charm this cottage offers. Enjoy and entertain in the newly remodeled kitchen with raised ceiling, new Nantucket cabinets and granite counters. A walk in pantry/laundry adjoins the kitchen. And a rear deck is perfect for your gatherings or just to enjoy a good book. A spacious living room area, desk alcove and main level bedroom and full bath complete the main level. The upper level has a master bedroom, twin sized bedroom and full bath.

Summary: This beach cottage was just what our family, pup included, needed for a long weekend getaway! The furnishings were nice and comfortable. We discovered the beach toys on the second day and my son loved being able to build a sand castle. There were a few minor things that would have made the stay even better: the back sliding door was very difficult to open/close and there was no soap for the dishwasher.

Summary: Home was as cute in person as in pictures. We had everything we needed including beach pass, floats and chairs. Easily walkable to boardwalk, beach and restaurants. Norma communicated well and took care of our concerns immediately. We loved sitting on the front and back porch. We spent a month here and loved North Beach.

Summary: We enjoyed our time at the cottage for its proximity to safe and lovely walking areas. The facilities worked well for us though the stairs called for extra caution because they are older and not very deep. The last step before the landing is difficult to see. The several reading areas were absolutely charming!

Summary: Our stay here was great! The house is so neat. The front porch is great for relaxing. The two couches in the living room are very comfortable for naps. There are tons of extra blankets and all the beds are comfortable. The downstairs tub is nice and deep. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of dishes and glasses and all. The property owner was very sweet. I contacted her to let her know that we would be arriving on the red eye and she asked that we let her know when we arrived so she would know we were safe. The property is close to a pond with huge Koi fish, walking distance to North Beach, and a really good coffee shop and fun antique store. Definitely would recommend this property. It has a small community feel but also close enough to town that you can Instacart or Doordash from plenty of stores.

Summary: Great location for enjoying North Beach. Could easily walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The house is charming but could use some maintenance (peeling paint, etc) and the A/C is pretty uneven. The kitchen is stocked, but you may need to bring items if you like to cook (there was only one mixing bowl, for example). The host was very slow to respond to questions and I gave up after taking over a week to get answers to two basic ones. It does not have a grill, though there is one pictured. The sound on the small TV is terrible, so it was difficult to try and watch DVDs we brought. Overall, it was fine for a weekend.

Summary: Very good location and we loved the front porch. We didn't like the ants, some spray would be helpful. The steps are very steep and the upstairs landing is small. A larger TV would be nice too.
