Summary: This cabin was great! There were seven of us that stayed there with plenty of room! We loved the location of the hotel because we were a quick drive away from Homer! The pictures do not do this place justice!! Highly recommend!

Summary: Captain Cook Lodge is an amazing place to stay! Beautiful building, immaculately decorated and maintained. We were really comfortable with our 3 generations (grandparents, mom and dad, and two littles). Communication with the Johns was great, and we saw moose the last night there!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay in our cabin. I can see how it would be a good choice for people. The owner is most helpful, the place is clean and is well equipped. For me I would want to be a bit closer to town next time, there were x4 single beds and no double and whilst the lazy boy couch is a cool feature my wife does like to cozy up on an evening. All I am saying here is there may be other cabins with a different set up that may suit your needs better. Otherwise a great cabin and we enjoyed our stay.

Summary: The Wise Man lodge at Bear Paw is an exquisite venue...gorgeous, plenty of room, and loved the back deck! And the hosts were gracious! I wish I had booked for more time!
