Emerald Bay State Park boasts 360-degree picturesque views that encompass Emerald Bay, Fannette Island, Eagle Falls, and Vikingsholm Castle.
For winter activities, just a few miles down the road you’ll find Homewood, Alpine Meadows, and Squaw Valley Ski Resorts. The Magical West Shore has great options for whatever you fancy: snowshoeing, snowboarding, downhill or cross-country skiing, sledding, and more!
To experience all the gambling and nightlife that the Lake Tahoe area offers, South Lake Tahoe/Stateline is about a 30-minute drive.

Summary: We had a great time in this cozy home! It was perfectly situated between all of the things we wanted to do while in Lake Tahoe. Everything was very clean and the fireplace was the PERFECT touch for the first snow day of the season! The neighborhood is quiet and quaint. Would definitely recommend for a couples trip!

Summary: Rating Details: The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice and comfortable cabin. Only complaint is that the toilet is very noisy when you flush it and a lightbulb on the ceiling beam needs replacement. We would stay there again!!

Although, there were some light bulbs that were not working and needed replacement. Close to alot of activities: bike riding, beaches, Emerald Bay, etc.

Summary: This is a great spot to stay to enjoy the lake, trails and Truckee river. Being in Tahoma it is away from the crowds in Tahoe City.

Summary: Fantastic location and loved the property. The only slight complaint is that there are only two uncomfortable outside chairs on the deck. We would liked to have more comfortable outside seating to accommodate all of us.

Summary: This was a good value for the price as the location is very convenient to homewood. Our only complaint is the lack of a dishwasher, the loud noises from the heating unit, and the lack of two twins for kids (as opposed to one double in the 2nd bedroom). Otherwise it was clean and nice and I appreciate the quality of the cookware and dishes compared to other units

Summary: We gather in Homewood with our family every year. We stayed in the Bear's Den in Tahoma which was only 4 miles from our gathering. It is also very close to Meeks Bay, where we met our adult kids and grandkids for the day. The Cabin was perfect for the two of us but would also accomondate another couple or kids if needed. Everything was clean and well stocked with the basics. We would stay there again.
