3 Bedroom House in Altadena

Stay in a beautifully restored, 3 BR 100 year cottage, full of bright airy windows with full patio, bar-b-q, outdoor seating, along with shared access to secret garden, patio, pool, and gym, kids play area, grass field, and vegetable garden. We are near JPL, Burbank studios, several regional hospitals. For entertainment, Old-town Pasadena, downtown LA, and one hour to beaches and Disneyland. We are a destination for hikers from all of Southern California as we are on the edge of the Angeles National Forest.
The deck and of course the entire house is exclusively yours. The grounds are shared with other families on the property. So, the gym, pool, jacuzzi, grass area, the secret garden, the shared vegetable garden, and the play structure are shared (but truly the other family does not venture on the grounds all that often). However, through signups, you can have completely private time for any of those shared areas when desired (for example, let's say you wanted to have the gym or pool to yourselves at the same time every day, or week, etc). If private time/space is not requested, then the space is shared (for everyone to use the pool, for example).

Summary: We stayed for three months with our two young kids while our house was being renovated. Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect spot. House is airy and comfortable and gets great light. Bunk beds for kids were a delight. Quiet bedroom for parents with plenty of storage. Used third room as an office. Well-appointed kitchen with brand-new pots, tools, etc. Legos and toys on hand for kids—a thoughtful and welcoming touch. Wonderful backyard including swing set, giant chess, fruit trees, and great home gym setup. We used it all! Owners also very kindly allow regular access to their pool and spa, which our girls loved. Charming, quiet neighborhood where kids can safely run around and ride bikes, but also close to great coffee shops and other restaurants on Lincoln. Plenty of beautiful parks nearby too. Loved the mountain views and hearing lots of owls at night. Owners are wonderful and were very communicative and helpful in responding to our questions and making sure we had what we needed. Highly recommend!!

Summary: Everything was great! My kids loved the pool and hot tub, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed to have a fun family trip!

Summary: We had an amazing stay of three weeks. The house is gorgeous with lots of space for the kids to play, a full kitchen, and great beds. The pool was a big hit, situated so it was quickly heated by the sun making it warm throughout most of the day. The hosts are lovely and had bought a few essential food items for when we arrived. This saved us from a late evening shopping trip after our long haul flight. A real life saver! They where also very acomodating and gave us tips on what to see and where the good stores are. The house is situated in a very cute recidential area with only about 10 min to old town Pasadena, by car. If we come back to LA we are, for sure, staying here again!
