The complex is only about 5 minutes from I-5. It is off the last exit heading north before Camp Pendleton. That means it is 45 minutes from Sea World, 1 hour on the dot to Disneyland and 5 minutes to Lego Land. You can easily walk to the Oceanside Pier (and the lovely Ruby's Diner) or to the Marina (with all sorts of yachts coming and going plus a dozen restaurants). The Coaster (commuter train) is less than a mile away which can take you right to downtown San Diego. No busy streets to cross for beach access.
The recently remodeled interior includes all new comfortable furnishings, beds, accessories and flat screen TVs in the living room and both bedrooms. Go to sleep and wake each day to the sights and sounds of the ocean waves rolling onto the beach from a comfortable king size bed in the spacious master bedroom complete with in-suite bathroom. With no units above this condo you're sure to get a peaceful night sleep.
Walk time to: Beach (on the beach, 0 min), Oceanside Harbor Shops and Restaurants (5 min), Oceanside Pier Restaurants (5 min), Downtown Restaurants, Shops, Theaters and Museums (10 min). Drive time to: Legoland, San Luis Rey Mission (10 min), San Diego Zoo Safari Animal Park (25 min), San Diego Zoo, Sea World, Balboa Park, Old Town, Gas Lamp District (25 min), Temecula Wine Country (40 min), Disneyland, California Adventure (50 min), Knotts Berry Farm (60 min).
The Strand is great for riding bikes, jogging or taking a long walk along the beach without getting sandy. The Pier is a 10 minute walk down the beach from our door has restaurants, outdoor cafes, bike rentals, surfboard rentals/lessons and fishing pole rentals. Oceanside Harbor with has many waterfront indoor/outdoor restaurants and shops. You can go deep sea fishing, take a sightseeing or party cruise boat tour, rent boats, paddle boards and kayaks. Downtown Oceanside (10 minute walk) has more indoor/outdoor cafes and restaurants, shops, pubs, clubs/music, movie theaters and the Thursday Farmers Market and famous Thursday Sunset Market (great food and music). Shoppers love looking inside the wide array of unique shops in the beach towns located up and down the coast. Golfers will like their choice of courses available in an area known as golfer’s paradise. Walk, jog, rollerblade, or bike Oceanside's 6 miles of white sand beach (known as one of the best beaches in all of California), enjoy the perfect climate (avg. temp. 72 degrees year round).
Half way between Los Angeles and San Diego: we are a convenient location for many of California's major attractions and theme parks by car or train commute. Look south and travel to Legoland California, the World-Famous San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park, Sea World of San Diego. Traveling north, you'll see Disneyland Park Resort, Knott's Berry Farm and Universal Studios-Hollywood.

Summary: The previous reviews were all 5 star and this condo certainly lives up to that rating. Spacious, well equipped and situated right on the best Oceanside beach which the terrace overlooks. Secure covered parking is a bonus but I am not going to say anymore because you will all want to stay there. Thank you Michelle you were the perfect host.

Summary: We were pleasantly surprised that the unit had wonderful oceanfront views (picture window from the master bedroom and patio from living room). The unit is on the strand (which is a narrow one way street with not many cars), steps from the sands, and very close to Oceanside pier. Furnishing of the kitchen is the best of all the rentals we’ve been to. Communication and responsiveness of the host and the property manager were excellent. The only improvement I would suggest is to replace the living room furniture, they look new but are old and very uncomfortable. It would also have been nice if we didn’t have to provide our own shampoo and toilet paper (2 per bathroom were provided for the whole month)

Summary: We had a wonderful time with our two dogs. You cannot beat the location, right on The Strand in Oceanside. Neighbors were friendly. Communication with the property manager was seamless. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone.

Summary: Great views right next to beach. Condo was very nice with all amenities. Re-plumbing entire complex caused quite a lot of noise, but owners were very nice and accommodating.

Summary: We stayed nearly 2 months over the Thanksgiving and Xmas holidays - wanting to have a place where we could stay COVID safe, as well as, perhaps, have a few visits outdoors with family. This condo was perfect! Views of the ocean, surfers, dolphins, whales - from bed each morning were great. Condo is comfortable, kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc (though I brought a lot of my own favorite appliances as we were to stay for so long, and I like to cook) There is parking for 2 vehicles. The beach is mere steps away. The contact person for any problems was immediately available and super nice. We really enjoyed our stay - and hope to be able to return. Thank You Michelle - we loved staying here.

Summary: Great condo, amazing ocean views and perfect location. We really enjoyed our stay! Kitchen had everything needed and with outside bbq we ate almost every meal there. Easy walk to the fish market in the harbor, no problem with Instacart grocery deliveries. Also good restaurants and coffee in walking distance. Owner was very responsive to questions, etc. Would love to go back next year but summertime is booked. Beaches were crowded on weekends, but we were happy just watching the action from the patio (chairs/umbrella) - ate almost every meal outside. Absolutely no complaints!

Summary: We spent a month here and could not want for anything. The property is located halfway between the pier and harbor and steps from the beach. It is clean, well maintained and fully stocked. Property is nicely decorated with newer furniture and comfortable. The view at sunset is amazing. We could sit for hours on the patio enjoying the cool breeze and people watching. Almost everything is within walking distance. There is a farmers market and street fair every Thursday with culinary delights. Just park your car, forget it and enjoy yourself!
