Come and enjoy our spacious and beautiful apartment in Saas in Prättigau, close to bus, train and a small supermarket. Saas belongs to the Klosters/Serneus municipality, located 8km from Klosters and 21km from Davos. You'll love the wonderful ski- and hiking area "DavosKlosters Mountains". There is one large living room, two bedrooms (one with a double bed 160x200 and one with two single beds 80x200), two bathrooms (one with a shower, one with a bathtub), one kitchen with dining table (also included: dishwasher and a Nespresso coffee machine), a terrace & garden & one parking space (outside).
Skis can be stored in the ski room.
Saas is a peaceful and very pretty village of 700 inhabitants. Elevation ca 980 meters. Since the beginning of 2016 Saas belongs to the municipality of Klosters/Serneus - connected by train and bus. During summer you can hike, mountain bike, rent an E-bike (Klosters), enjoy the outside swimming pool (Klosters) or the lake (Davos). During winter there is alpine and cross country skiing or wonderful winter hiking paths.
Saas can be reached by train and there is public transportation between Saas and Klosters/Serneus (bus or train) and up to Davos (train).
During your stay we are always reachable by mobile phone, SMS and e-mail to answer all the questions you might have in regard to the apartment, the area, transportation, etc. We also have a folder with recommendations ready for you in the apartment.This is our second home and we love spending as much time as we can there - we are sure you will find everything you need for your comfort. Summary: Beautiful and comfortable fully equipped apartment. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need - spices, various types of oil, coffee, tea, 2 types of coffee machines, etc. Good location close to the train station and bus stop. Great and very helpful hosts. We arrived late Saturday and the shops were already closed for the weekend. They took care of us and did some shopping for us in advance. Thank you Dagmar! Summary: The apartment is nicely situated. The highway from Zurich is good, as is the road to Klosters. The road to Davos is fine, helped by a long tunnel and you can drive your car onto the rail transporter to avoid the pass to the St Moritz region. So excellent access to a large area of mountains whilst avoiding slow, scary, weather dependent, roads. The small (stop on request) station is a couple of hundred metres from the apartment with hourly trains in each direction. The cosy restaurant at the station looked good, but unfortunately we didn't have the chance to try it. The apartment is fine, a nice building near the end of a quiet, dead end road. It's comfortable and quite spacious with a reasonably equipped kitchen. There was a variety of condiments, coffee capsules, dishwasher tablets and so on which saves the nuisance of having to bring everything, or dash to the shop. There were ornaments, including a particularly fine model train, in the sitting room which made us feel at home. The owner was helpful and reacted quickly to any requests. The only criticism we had was that the bed linen was coarse and uncomfortable to the touch, but perhaps that's a matter of taste.
