This is a fabulous 4 bedroom villa on two levels located on Cacrabank beach, which is also known as Worthing beach in Christ Church on the south coast of Barbados. This beachfront villa couldn’t get much closer to the sea and is just steps from the white sand beach with stepping stones from the backyard to the beach.
The beach is walkable during low tide and mid tide. It is a quaint, quiet and beautiful beach and low tide is amazing where you see turtles popping their heads.
This stretch of beach is very peaceful and calm .
Villa Benjamin has wonderful upstairs/downstairs space for the whole family to chill. Great sundeck to capture the magnificent sunsets, large patio with outdoor wet bar and much much more!

Summary: I will begin by saying that Barbados is a beautiful Island, the weather was amazing, people are friendly and the location of this Villa was perfect. Unfortunately there were a number of things that put a damper on our stay. 1. only one (of 3) working safe in the house (key only, no batteries to be able to enter a code) - we were not informed when we checked in. 2. the security gate on the property was not operational - we were not informed when we checked in. 3. the beach shower was not operational - we used the one next door where another family member was staying - we were not informed when we checked in. 4. air conditioner in master bedroom began leaking Friday night. 5. most importantly our 50th wedding anniversary celebration was disrupted due to the problem with the kitchen sink - our entire trip was planned around this celebration, 16 family members traveled with us - the chef we hired could not cook without a sink so we were forced to move the dinner party to another location last minute which was chaotic to say the least - we could not get ahold of the property manager so we contacted the VRBO rep - as a result of waiting for a plumber my sister and brother in-law had to stay back - the plumber used a plunger but would not do anymore without approval from the owner - the next night our chef prepared our meal washing vegetables and dishes with the outdoor hose!!! The property manager never check in with us to see if the issue was resolved.

Summary: This property is awesome. This was a once and a lifetime trip for me and my daughter and this house was exactly what we needed. We have suffered some losses last year we needed to mentally recover from. Location, comfort and simple luxury. We come to Barbados regularly and could never afford to do it this way again for just the 2 of us, but we 100% picked the best house to stay in and bring friends to. Our friends that came down with us had never experienced the island. We also have family in Barbados, I always stay somewhere that they too can come and go. There were 3 adults and 4 teenagers that travelled here from Ontario. No one was in each other space, there was enough room that if you didn’t want to be with the group you didn’t have to be. The teens swam with the turtles right outside the back door of the patio literally. BBQ more than enough propane. It was like an oasis in the back yard and day to day life outside the front for everyone who lives on the Island. Across the road is a gas station, grocery store, and food trucks. Nightlife is with in walking distance at the St. Lawrence Gap. (Single file sidewalk so safe as the road is very busy.) Oistin’s Friday night fish fry is a must but get there by 6pm….. This property is a little dated and has some wear and tear, BUT you can see the owners care and are doing constant repairs and upkeep. The beds are comfortable, there are enough dishes and kitchen utensils, pots and pans and bowls etc. The BBQ we used every night almost. Everything is exceptionally clean. Pat who met us at the house upon arrival showed us around the house and the do’s and don’ts of the house. I ordered groceries ahead of time and Pat had them in the fridge for me. The decks, location and views were simply amazing. We will definately stay here when we bring friends down again.

Summary: Villa Benjamin was a nice place to stay in Barbados. Location was great, back yard and decks were exceptional, and excess to the ocean was fantastic. Grocery store and gas station across the street were extremely handy. Food and restaurants were very high priced but we did find a Burger King in the mall and sure enjoyed some good fish and chicken sandwiches.
