Summary: Picturesque and peaceful farm property with horses in the pasture. The converted bank barn was not plush but it was really unique and had beautiful antique furniture. (Some of the settees and chairs were just functional). The decor was very charming and reflected love of horses. The kitchen was functional with an awesome chef’s stove and a nice breakfast room which we really enjoyed in the AM and late night conversations. WE LOVED the dining room with its checkered tablecloths and coziness. The four bedrooms each had a private bath and very comfortable beds. There were 2 lofts that were fine for our younger family members-less private but separated. Lovely setting, close but not too close to supermarket, some restaurants, bagel shop, gas and pharmacy. Doylestown is a great historic town about 15 mins. away and has many eateries and activities, including the cool Mercer museum. For our group, with our 92 year old dad and family members visiting from the western states, this property was perfect for our reunion.

Summary: During our recent stay at this VRBO property, my friends and I had an enjoyable experience. We were each engaged in digital scrapbooking, we found the internet to be robust enough to support 10 of us working simultaneously without a hitch. The spacious layout was perfect, allowing us to work comfortably and dine separately. It's unusual to find a place where nearly every guest has her own bed and the added plus of attached bathrooms to most rooms. The on-property manager was very accommodating with any of our needs. I would recommend this property if you are looking for lots of space and a picturesque setting.

Summary: If you love history and antiques, you will fall in love with this venue. Each of the bedrooms has a back door leading to a continuous balcony overlooking pastures with friendly horses. We went up the road and bought farm fresh eggs, bacon, ice cream and went 15 minutes up the road the other direction to get great pizza and roasted Ethiopian coffee. It was only 20 minutes from the church where the wedding and reception were with beautiful winding roads. Steven was helpful when we had questions. Thank you for a wonderful stay....wish it could've been longer!

Summary: I stayed for a long weekend with all the women in my family for a girls’ getaway. The space was perfect for our group! It was so nice to be all together under one roof to spend time together. The bedrooms were very comfortable and was so nice having a bathroom in each one. We enjoyed our stay visiting the local wineries, the barn is very close to so many great places!

Summary: The downstairs tennent was a bit of a pain. I walked across the living room floor in socks and he began pounding on the ceiling. The kitchen was not clean, the faucet leaked badly, the hot handle fell off in my hand and there was the constant smell of gas. But, the family was together and for that we had a wonderful time with plenty of places to sleep

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at Jacquie’s place! The rooms each have their own bathroom and share a large peaceful deck. The house is huge and beautifully decorated. Temperature inside is comfortable and adjustable. Would like to be able to communicate more via text and app and not so much on the phone as the signal can come and go in the area. Must meet in person for check-in.

Summary: A beautiful historic barn in a lovely location of Bucks County. However, there are a few important items that VRBO Renters need to understand that are not listed in the rental description: 1. VRBO Renters have access to the main level of the barn, but the lower level of the barn is rented to colorful tenants we encountered regularly around the property. 2. While the listing says the barn can accommodate up to 16 people, we would recommend avoiding this VRBO if you have children with you. We had 4 children (ages 2 to 7) in our 10 person group. The landlord called several times to tell us the children could not run or dance in the building, citing the antiques in the space and the sound of their feet bothering the tenants on the lower level. We spent much of our time at the barn on pins and needles doing everything in our power to contain our small children. Because of the tenants regularly milling around the building, we did not feel comfortable spending much time outside with the children either. While doing laundry in the lower level laundry room we could get a sense of the sound of the feet from the main level. If quiet hours for the main level VRBO tenants are important for the comfort of the lower level renters, the Landlord needs to include this information in the rental description. 3. The Landlord needs to do some work to make the main level more secure. There are multiple doors to get into the main level, and several do not securely lock, including the easternmost entrance and the kitchen entrance. Some lock, but can be easily pulled open. We were very excited to spend our family vacation in this historic barn close to many extended family members. However, had we been aware that we would not have the barn to ourselves, that our children would be a problem for the host and other renters, and that we could not secure all the entrances to our space, we would not have stayed here.
