Relax and reconnect in this stylish light filled 3 bed 1 bath home with plenty of space- perfect for couples getaway, friends reunion, or extended remote work stays. Conveniently located near Atlanta's most known and visited attractions, spend your days exploring the city, and then come back and listen to a record, or relax in the spacious backyard, and end the night sinking into one of our super comfortable beds!
Built in the 1950’s and rehabbed in 2019 Penelope Cottage celebrates its history with a mid-century modern style straight out of Mad Men and the Queen’s Gambit with modern amenities and comfort.
The entry welcomes you to a living room with a comfortable article couch and additional seating for up to 6 guests, 55” smart tv with major streaming apps, vinyl record player and an ample collection of games for everyone to connect and reconnect.
Our open concept dining room and kitchen allows for the chef among you to use the fully stocked kitchen and prepare a great meal while staying connected with those enjoying a glass of wine at the dining room table or keeping the chef company at the quartz island.
Enjoy the beautiful Atlanta weather in the spacious backyard with patio seating and a separate outdoor dining area. Allow the automatic string lights to set a beautiful ambiance while you enjoy BBQ and yard games in the completely fenced in yard.
Once it is time to rest you will have the perfect sleep. Every room has memory foam mattresses and USB charging stations. You can sleep comfortably knowing our installed outdoor cameras, floodlights, and Simplisafe alarm system are there to provide confidence and comfort while you enjoy our home.
It will be easy to enjoy the city as Penelope Cottage is a 10 minute trip to all of the major attractions like Mercedes Benz Stadium, State Farm Arena, and Midtown Atlanta, and a 5 minutes to where the local hotspots ( Monday Night Garage, Best End Brewery, Busy Bee Cafe and Slutty Vegan).

Summary: The property was nicely decorated and in a decent area. The home came with all necessary amenities for a short of long term stay. There were water bugs at the back entrance and some small critters so I'd suggest getting better seals for the doors and exterminators for the exterior. Moreover, having actual curtains for all the windows would be great. The current curtains don't cover all of the window sufficiently or aren't up at all. Outside of these hiccups, it was an enjoyable experience and I'd book again if I needed another space like this and the aforementioned adjustments were made.

Summary: Our pup and I had a great stay! House is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Great Wi-Fi connection which is a plus if you plan to work from the home. I especially loved spending time on the back deck.

Summary: We cannot say enough nice things about Penelope Cottage and the owners, Tiffany and Shawn. We were in town for a long weekend and had a fantastic time. The property is located in a safe neighborhood with plenty of parking. The MARTA is only 3 minutes away. The interior of the house has been updated in a manner that is both stylish and comfortable. This property has everything you will need for a fantastic stay in Atlanta. We definitely plan on staying at Penelope Cottage next time we are in town!

Summary: We had a wonderful week staying in Penelope Cottage and exploring all that Atlanta has to offer! Everything was ready and waiting for us after we arrived very late at night after a long day of travelling from the UK. We really felt like we'd arrived at home away from home! Shawn and Tiffany were the loveliest hosts. Very communicative and friendly without being intrusive. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. We were only sorry we didn't get to meet them! The cottage is in a nice quiet neighbourhood, close to everywhere. It's very well-equipped, lovely and comfortable and spotlessly clean. We were sad to leave as we had such a nice time, but we hope to be back in the future and can recommend this lovely house as a great place to stay in Atlanta!

Summary: House was very pretty, clean and beds very comfortable! The neighborhood appears to be in the midst of revitalization which is great to see. Very close to downtown, 10 minute drive. Vey responsive owners. Only issue was the dryer could not dry our clothes because there was no hot air. I did let the owners know but it was near the end of our stay. I am sure they will get that fixed as they seem very responsive Thanks so much for the use of your home.
