The upstairs has two bedrooms, however you do need to walk through one bedroom to get to the other. Tucked away on a quiet cul-de-sac. Relaxing Atmosphere: This is an excellent place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Only yards from the Potomac River and C&O Canal Towpath Mile Marker 77. Bring your bike, canoe or kayak. Use the fire pit to roast marshmallows. Bring swim shoes and swim in the River at Snyders Landing boat ramp just yards away from the cottage. Visit Antietam Battlefield 2 miles away. Bring your bathing suit and relax in the hot tub. Summary: What an adorable, well-stocked and comfortable place! We brought our young grandchildren for a weekend and had a great time! We loved the hot tub especially, but the comfort of the place was wonderful! A glitch with a non-working dryer, but it didn't deter us from having a wonderful time..Catherine gave us extra time to check out because of the dryer. Would definitely recommend!

Summary: Our cottage stay was perfect! A nice remote location with everything you could need. We loved being able to bring our fur kid with us to enjoy some nature and were delighted to see how welcome he was with a dog bed, toys and bowls awaiting his arrival. Nearby sites made for a lot of variety and a lovely summer trip!

Summary: We had a great weekend stay and utilized a lot of the amenities the house offered including the hot tub, kitchen, and vhs player! The house had a great supplies of cooking things in the kitchen and the house was spacious and comfortable. One thing to mention is you have to walk through one of the queen rooms to get to the other so just be aware of that. Would recommend and stay again!

Summary: Property was the perfect location for biking on the C&O canal towpath. Convenient to Shepherdstown and Sharpsburg for dining and shopping after a day of riding. And a great deck for relaxing in the evening.

Summary: The cabin was perfect for our group! Easily drove into Shepardstown and Harper’s Ferry. The yard was perfect for our dogs and we were able to take some great walks along the C&O trail. Hot tub, fire pit, kitchen and bedrooms were clean and comfortable. Recommend bringing your own beach towels for the hot tub as only bath towels are provided!

Summary: This house had everything we needed for our stay. The home is spacious, clean, and very well equipped. The lighting was great and outdoor spaces were nice. We would stay here again. The owners were responsive to my questions and helped quickly when we had to change our dates several weeks before our trip. The property was very private (on a dead end road) and quiet. If renters are interested in accessing the river, it’s worth noting that this property has no direct water access from the property itself. We were able to access the river via the Snyder’s Landing boat launch a short 5 minute walk from the house and from Taylor’s landing further upstream (about a 5 mile drive). The canal path was great for biking and walking and is easily accessible at Snyder’s Landing.
