Take a look!Bald Eagle Cottage is located on the banks of Bald Eagle Creek. There are three bedrooms, and a pull out couch in the sun room. There is a full bath on the 2nd floor and a powder room on the first. There are ramps in front and back of the house making it easy access. The cottage is located on a private road and has a dock for fishing. It is very private, and a driveway providing parking for a least 6 cars. There are many activities around the cottage, including fishing, a canoe for your use, if you have kyacks it is the perfect place with miles of paddling for your pleasure. A fishing is needed to fish, and is available at the 24 hour Walmart. Nearby is the town of Lock Haven, which has a movie house, lots of cute stores, thrift stores, 3 main grocery stores, and pharmacy. Mill Hall is located 34 miles from State College PA. The home of Penn State where there are always lots of sport events, concerts, plays and community events happening. Also there Hyner View is 30 miles away towards Renovo PA. At Hyner there is world class hang gliding and a spectacular view. Renovo area and Pine Creek both have incredible trout fishing. Many famous people have come here to fish. Hiking is also a wonderful past time here. Across the creek from the cottage is the Clinton county Country Club that has an 18 hole golf course. It is open to the public and has a wonderful restaurant with outside dining called Haywoods. There are many fine dining restaurants in the area and also many family eating establishments. The home not be appropriate for small children as it is right beside the creek which is 30 feet deep in places. It is actually more of a river than a creek. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy life at a slower pace for a week or two. The owner has provided broad games, cards, books and 3 tvs to use for your pleasure. WiFi is available in the house. Netlix and basic cable is also available. There is no smoking in the house. There are special rates if you want to rent for the whole month or for more than one week. Please contact me by email or phone for these special prices. After March email is the best way to contact me. After the first week of April the house bookings are open for all dates. Please book soon as possible summers in this area tend to book quickly. Long term bookings are available and if you want to book for the whole summer that is possible, with housekeeping included weekly. Please contact owner if that is something you are considering. Cottage is 35 minutes away from Williamsport This is a great place to stay to go to the Penn State Games! It is a 35 minute drive and convenient driving on route 64 or route 150 to rt 99.
