Summary: We had two groups of families stay for the Thanksgiving Holiday. A total of 13 adults and 6 grandchildren 6 and under. It was a fabulous stay. This VRBO was beautifully decorated for the Holiday a very nice touch and surprise. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Summary: Phenomenal location for our Board retreat. We brought in a private chef to prepare a 5 course meal and enjoyed the house during our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for privacy, seclusion and quietness. The property manager was very attentive prior to and during our stay.

Summary: We needed a place that we could all stay the night and be safe, but was still close to home. There was plenty of room for what we needed it for and more. The kitchen was amazing and had the amenities that we needed to cook and provide dinner for our guests. More than enough space for everyone to sit and enjoy each other either at the island or the table. If there was anything that I could say bad about the stay was we didn't have enough time there. Especially this time of year when the time has already changed and the nights getting dark so early. We already plan to book it again!

Summary: Great house, good communication with host, beautiful property! Would suggest an update of the downstairs bedrooms- install blinds on the windows that are between the bedrooms to provide more privacy.

Summary: We recently stayed at this property during our annual family vacation. The house is very accommodating for a large group (24) and offers amenities for people of all ages to enjoy. The kitchen area offers a large gathering spot for the family. The proximity to Kansas City attractions while also offering a rural setting was great for our group. We went to an aquatic center about 20 minutes away, but also able to visit downtown KC (30 mins) and the KC Zoo (45 mins). The hosts were accommodating and very responsive. Our group would definitely use this property again if in the area.

Summary: We held a family reunion here with 20 people staying in the house & a camper parked by the hanger. We hooked up the camper with a 50ft cable we brought to a 110 volt plug inside the hanger. The house was spacious inside & out providing enough room for everyone to visit in a comfortable setting. We enjoyed the variety of activities in the game room & fishing in the lake. We never found the hot tub in the listing. We made do preparing food for 20+ people with the 2 medium size pots & 1 pan, more/bigger pots & pans would have been helpful for a house hosting this many people. There was ample fridge/freezer space for food & drinks. 2 ovens, a large microwave, large stove, counter space provided more than enough room to serve meals. We had plenty of bed space for people to sleep even with a few of the bedrooms not being what we expected. 2 bedrooms (bedroom 2 & 3) were actually 1 bedroom connected by an opening (2 queen beds & a bunk bed:double bed on bottom/twin on top). 2 bedrooms had windows to a common area and no curtains for privacy. 1 queen bed was in the basement common area & no curtains, making for early morning rise. The futons are good for kids and shorter adults. Listing correct on number of beds but we would have said 6 bedrooms & 2 unconventional bed spaces. The elevator in the house was extremely helpful allowing one of our relatives to easily access the bedrooms upstairs. We were not able to use it to the lower level as the door handle was missing.

Summary: The house was beautiful and the grandkids had a great time playing pool, ping pong, shuffleboard and foosball. With all the rains this year the grounds were so green and beautiful. Since the grounds were so lush it made it a little more difficult to get to the pond but I have a very determined daughter-in-law and grandchildren who were able to get there and do some fishing. My grandson earned a boy scout badge because he caught a fish. Beautiful property.

Summary: I've rented at least 10 vacation houses over the years in the midwest for my family. This was by far the most luxurious and beautifully finished home we've been in.

Summary: The location is beautiful and the house is massive. We had 13 family members from infants to a great grandma. We really enjoyed the large kitchen and the common areas. Overall our stay was a huge success! However, I should point out: * the kitchen is lacking severely in basics like pots, pans and even coffee cups * tons of barware, but bring your own wine opener * the pond may be stocked, but it's barely accessible and completely unfishable due to algae * there are multiple bedrooms in the basement, but only one has any privacy and they all share a single bathroom.

Summary: We stayed here as a large group of extended family members and this could not have been more perfect. The property and home are absolutely beautiful. We had plenty of space for everyone to sleep comfortably and so many areas for everyone to spend time together. We will definitely be booking again when back in the area!
