As soon as you walk into the home you are greeted with a floor to ceiling view of the beautiful lake. The large living room has a cozy gas fireplace, comfortable furniture and opens into the sun room, the perfect little escape for an afternoon nap or read. The open floor plan is ideal for large family gatherings. The dining room features a custom built table with seating for ten and is open to the beautifully updated kitchen with stainless appliances, seating for four at the island, and plenty of natural light. There is also a 1/2 bath on this floor. Also on the first floor is one of three master bedrooms. This room has a king bed and a private bathroom.
Going up the grand staircase you will find the other two master bedrooms. Both have a king bed and private bathroom. The remaining three bedrooms are on the bottom level. This is the perfect retreat for all of the kids to enjoy. One bedroom has two extra long twins and a set of twin bunk beds, one has two twins, and the large sixth bedroom has two twin bunk beds and 1 twin bed, sleeping eleven in total on this floor. These bedrooms will all share a 3/4 bathroom on this level. Another amazing aspect of this home is the large game room on the bottom level. Everyone will enjoy evenings around the game table, watching movies and relaxing in the cozy den! The lower level has huge windows with views of the lake, so you don’t feel like you are in a basement.
The backyard is accessible through the sun room on the main level! When you walk outside you are greeted with a lush lawn, fifty feet of private sandy beach, trees for shade, a fire pit, grill and an amazing 100 foot private dock extending into the clear shallow water of Round Lake.

Summary: We looked for a property near Nisswa for our sons wedding weekend. We needed a place that could sleep up to 15 people and was on a lake as we knew we would stay beyond the wedding day. We wanted a comfy spacious place to enjoy the time with friends and family. This house was just the place. Plenty of space to spread out as well as everything you’d need to cook, enjoy games or movies or just be together inside or out. Simple check in and provided anything we’d need without lugging extras. Highly recommend!

Summary: This property was fantastic! The ability for four families with small kids to have both privacy and a common spaces to accommodate all was wonderful. Also, the beachfront was great! Unfortunately, we did not have a pleasant check in experience. We had mixed messages about a check-in code and had delayed responses from the host. Thankfully, VRBO was very helpful and the host eventually responded, but it was not a pleasant way to start the trip. Besides the check-in issue, this place was a 10 out of 10!

Summary: We had a wonderful time at this beautiful lake home! The house was spacious, clean and comfortable. There were 13 of us including adults and kids and there were beds to spare. There are plenty of areas in the house to gather, the kitchen was well-stocked with supplies, the kids had hours of fun in the lake and there was down time with movies, s'mores and games late in the day. The owner made the check in process very easy and was great to work with. The location was excellent! Close to ice cream, restaurants and shopping. It was a great place to spend time with family!

Summary: We just finished a fabulous week at this home on Round lake and we couldn't be happier! The home was lovely and just perfect for a mixed group of adults and children. The home is spacious and has all the furnishings and supplies needed to enjoy the week. We loved the large kitchen and dining area - plenty of space to cook and eat. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms and a nice laundry area. The kids loved the sandy beach and it was perfect for playing and enjoying the water. We made great use of the lower level family room for games and movies in the evening. I did some work during the day and the internet worked well. We loved this place and hope to be back nect year!
