Let the “White Pine Cottage” be the perfect get-away vacation for you and your family. Enjoy the summer pleasure of being on an up-north lake. The cottage is located on beautiful Goodrich Lake which is two hours north of the Twin Cities. Very clean and clear lake, sandy bottom and gradual elevation makes it great for swimming and beach activities. The newer dock with built in table, chairs and umbrella makes spending time on the lake peaceful. Across the lake is the Cuyuna Boy Scout camp and DNR property which makes for a scenic view as well as limits boat traffic. Also, there is a unique boat house near the dock with beach toys, cooler and various fishing equipment.
This 2-bedroom, one bath cottage is located at the end of the quiet paved road giving your stay extra privacy. The outside patio gives you an extra dining area with a great view of the lake. The indoor space includes a 4 seasons porch with a gas fireplace. Amenities during your stay include WIFI, central AC and heat, new appliances, DVD player with assorted movies, CD player, lakeside patio with table set and umbrella, new charcoal grill and an outside fire ring. The cottage is tastefully decorated with a vintage up-north theme. The kitchen is well equipped with new cookware, Keurig and a pantry for all your cooking needs. There is a high-definition Sony TV with Netflix and Amazon Apps for your spare time movie enjoyment. New for the Summer of 2025 will be a vintage bunkhouse for two. Perfect getaway for kids to enjoy their unique lake experience.
Goodrich lake is known for its great fishing, available for your use is a 14’ aluminum fishing boat with an electric and/or gas motor. Also, two kayaks, two bikes and a canoe.
Wake up to the sounds of early morning loon calls, watch eagles flying over the dock or enjoy the tranquility of the morning sunrise. Sitting on the dock with your favorite refreshment, a leisurely kayak/canoe paddle around the lake or a walk surrounded by majestic pines are all at your doorstep.
Located 5 miles from the city of Crosslake, close proximity to grocery and hardware stores, many outside patio dining and local restaurants as well as the famous “Crafts and Cones” for ice cream. Centrally located to the towns of Nisswa and Crosby for day trips. Also, close to several of the most popular golf courses on the Brainerd Trail.
This cottage is perfect for up to 6 guests.
Take advantage of the winter months too. Enjoy ice fishing, snowmobiling on groomed trails, snow showing and/or relaxing around the gas fireplace in the porch. Three pairs of snowshoes available in the winter. No matter what the season, the cottage has everything you need to make your up-north visit memorable.

Summary: We loved your cabin very much, thank you!Archie was a great host, very attentive to our travel plans. He recommended the supper club Norway Ridge which was a beautiful place and amazing food!Our son ice fished each day and we watched him by the warm fire in the porch. Great view!!!

Summary: We had a wonderful time at White Pine Cottage. The cottage was very clean and decorated like a true lake cabin. Very charming! The pantry was well stocked with cooking oils and spices so cooking was fun. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning was a real plus. The outdoor area was very nice; we especially enjoyed building a fire in the firepit and making s’mores. The lake was clear and very swimmable. Thank you so much for providing a lovely place for our family to stay.

Summary: Loved celebrating my birthday here. Got to see the northern lights! Great communication with the owner a few days prior. Let us check in a few hours early. Great access to the lake, had everything we needed to grill. Cabin was well kept, and clean. T.V, internet and lots of games to play. We will definitely be coming back with our 4yr old.

Summary: We stayed at White Pine Cottage to celebrate my husband’s birthday as a family w/ our 4yo son and golden retriever. The cabin was clean, cozy, and had every amenity we needed. Exactly as described and pictured. They must treat the property bc the mosquitos and ticks weren’t bad at all. Definitely appreciated as the cabin we stayed at last year was FULL of both and hindered our experience. Our dog and son loved running around the backyard and playing on the dock. We also took the kayaks out for a trek around Goodrich Lake - a quiet, peaceful, clean lake. Arch was a fantastic host, so nice and responsive w/ great recommendations! At his suggestion, we went to Norway Ridge Supper Club (~18min from cabin) for my hubby’s birthday dinner. Would highly recommend! Formed many great memories at this spot last weekend and cannot wait to go back. Heads up: there’s only one child’s life jacket so if you have multiple littles you may wanna bring your own!
