Plenty of room and several amenities, such as private hiking trails, community center with pool, workout facility, and tennis courts.
Located between the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and the "hogback". Grocery stores located within two miles, Chatfield Reservoir three miles away, Red Rocks Amphitheater within 10 minutes, and downtown Denver only 25 minutes away.

Summary: The location and wildlife was perfect. Lots of trails and adventures close by. The host was fantastic to work with and very accommodating. The few negatives: kitchen: while there are LOTS of cooking utensils, this home needs some actual cookware with lids! ($150 at Costco is all you need). A colander wouldn’t hurt, either - for washing lettuce or straining pasta. The other real problem is the odor of mold and mildew upstairs. The host has placed odor absorbing jars all over the house, but there is no way to hide the odor. I was unable to sleep upstairs because I was allergic to whatever was going on in the master bathroom. Luckily, there was a bedroom on the mail level that was odor free. All in all - The neighborhood is beautiful and the neighbors are all quite nice. The wildlife is amazing and the local trails are easy and accessible.

Summary: We loved our stay in this beautiful home in Ken Caryl. It was the perfect location for my family. It was walking distance to many hiking trails and just a short drive to biking trails. The home was clean and the views were amazing. We hope to come back next year. The host was very responsive and was available to answer any questions.
