Summary: My family and I came to visit the area. We absolutely loved the home. David was so helpful before we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed. The home was clean and well stocked. My three children loved having the swing set in the yard. The patio area was perfect for eating dinner each night. The views were breathtaking.

Summary: Beautiful property in a prime location in a lovely village. Bedrooms and living area ideal for 3 couples to share but still have room to move about. Garden and terrace perfect for alfresco dining and fun. Unfortunately the neighbours didn't appreciate guests using these facilities and complained directly to the owner about the noise at 6.15 in the afternoon

Summary: There is nothing not to love about this property, if you like Champagne., history or just staying in a home that makes you experience the French lifestyle, this is the place for you and your friends The owners were a treat to deal with, the house is litterly in the middle of the vineyards in the cradle of Champagne and the village is delightful. Not to mention the amazing small Champagne tasting houses and historic value of this French village it has everything you would want. Close to both Epernay and Reims , to explore for day trips or a beautiful dinner out it has it all. Thank you for the great stay ,it will not be our last.

Summary: Lovely house with great facilities in a quiet village that has a cafe and bakery, shops and restaurants a short drive away. Owners very friendly and helpful, though we didn’t need them as everything was fine. Lots to do and visit in the surrounding area, and lots of champagne houses to visit and sample. We had a great holiday here.

Summary: The house in Hautvillers was just wonderful. The hosts could not have been more helpful. They were quick to answer the questions we had. They were very gracious and made us feel quite welcome. Everything in the house was in working order. The owners stay from time to time in the house themselves. The house exceeded our expectations. There are doors that open from the kitchen to the patio and also from the living room. We went in May and got good weather. They had many flowering plants and bushes- roses that spilled over the patio guard rail, peonies, irises, bleeding hearts, st. John’s wort. It was heavenly The house itself is on a very quiet street with grape vineyards in the back. There are many champagne houses for tasting in Hautvillers although we went to Mercier and Moet & Chandon in Epernay for champagne tours and tasting. Did I mention that there is a great bakery that is a 4-5 minute walk from the house? We got fresh bread and pastries every morning, except Sunday. There is also a wonderful outdoor market in Epernay open Wednesday and Saturday mornings and big supermarkets. The restaurants are in Epernay, 10 minute drive away. It is a very quiet and peaceful place to be.

Summary: The house is immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and has everything you need for a relaxing and homely stay. We stayed with our 3 year old daughter and she was warmly welcomed by the owner and made to feel comfortable with children's books and outdoor toys. The garden is perfect for children and very safe. The location is ideal for visiting small, local champagne growers. Communication with the owners was easy and informative and we were personally welcomed by David who made us feel at home. We would not hesitate to return.
