Spacious four season home with 400+ feet of lakefront on beautiful Lake Eden.
Large open family room and kitchen has floor to ceiling windows that provide panoramic views of the lake and mountains. There are views of the lake from almost every room in the house.
Large wrap around deck with gazebo, screened in porch, garage. The four bedrooms include an upstairs studio apartment with a full bath and deck. This additional space is the perfect option for families vacationing together.
Very private, wooded lot with an expansive lawn and walking trails through the woods on the property.
The family room opens to a large wrap around deck facing the lake, providing a great outdoor space for family gatherings. A large grill is available on the deck. The screened in porch off of the kitchen, offers additional dining space. There is a fire pit near the lake, a large dock and a floating dock to swim out to. Two kayaks, canoes, stand up paddle boards and a paddle boat are available.
Located in north-central Vermont between Stowe and Jay Peak, this property has convenient access to skiing, hiking, and daytrips to Canada. It is an ideal vacation destination any season.

Enjoy swimming, kayaking and fishing on the lake in the summer and the beautiful foliage in the fall. There are plenty of winter activities close by.
The lake is home to nesting loons and features excellent fishing for rainbow trout and smallmouth bass. The Vermont state record (and the runner up as well) smallmouth bass was caught in Lake Eden. The Gihon river flows out of Lake Eden and holds plenty of brook trout and brown trout.
Nearby Mount Norris is a family friendly hike featuring spectacular views of Lake Eden and is less than three miles from the house. Vermont’s Long Trail which runs the length of the state passes within several miles of Lake Eden.
During the winter you can enjoy some of the best skiing, snowboarding and snowmobiling (VAST Trail system is close by) in New England. Try Eden Dog Sledding Adventures or a horse drawn sleigh ride for something different.
Close proximity to Stowe and Jay Peak make this a great location for day trips for shopping, dining, antiquing, and golf, as well as more adventurous activities. Jay Peak has an indoor year round water park that provides an excellent activity for rainy days.

Summary: This home was amazing! Perfect location for skiing at Jay Peak resort and ample size to accommodate a whole family. The host was very communicative and helpful. Would recommend!

Summary: The house is sprawling, plenty of first floor room, and a top level apartment was great for a family’s needing their own space. The rooms were comfortable and each had a lake view. The kitchen pantry was well stocked with little extras, and there was plenty of fridge storage with two refrigerators. The lake is set behind the house with a huge yard that accommodates many games. The dock and swimming area were tidy, and they had plenty of water boats (boards,kayaks,canoes) and life preservers. The place was great, had a lived in feel , you felt at home. Our family and friends were local and popped up for day visits and were impressed, asking when are we booking again. I’m sure we’ll be back!

Summary: Great family week at an excellent property. The house was very well outfitted with all we needed — great games and puzzles, kitchen supplies, information. The house had ample room for our group of 8 and wonderful outdoor space (a large, lush, flat lawn). The lake is perfect for swimming, paddle boarding and exploring and surprisingly quiet — the loons were a wonderful bonus. We enjoyed bike riding, berry picking, hiking, golf and exploring Stowe. The owner is very responsive and helpful. Overall a terrific vacation spot.

Summary: The house and its access to a wonderful lake was magnificent. The access to a couple of canoes, a couple of kayaks, a couple of paddle boards and a paddle boat was wonderful. Our two grandchildren had wonderful time and enjoyed many hours on the lake, as did their parents and us (their grandparents). The house was comfortable and more than adequate for our needs. We look forward to coming back!

Summary: The entire family enjoyed our vacation on lake Eden. The fishing was exceptional, the kids had a great time catching and releasing. The property had enough water craft for everyone to utilize at the same time so no one was left on shore. At times it felt like we had the entire lake to ourselves. I appreciated that certain water crafts are not allowed on the lake. The insode of the home had enough space for all of us and places to escape too if a little quiet time was desired. A screened in dining area was a big hit.

Summary: This property was outstanding! The setting on the lake was beautiful and we enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boards, canoes and pedal boat. The house was roomy and had everything we needed. There was a multitude of games for all ages, a huge gas grill, wood for the fire pit, very comfortable beds and lots of kitchen equipment. The owner was very responsive. We’re looking forward to returning next year!

Summary: This was our second stay, and it met our high expectations. The house is spacious and well-kept. The bathrooms are updated and clean, the kitchen is well laid-out and opens into the dining and living areas so that people can help cook and socialize more easily. The lot is large, so it feels very quiet and private, and the view of the lake and mountains is beautiful. Great spot!

Summary: We stayed over Presidents Day weekend with two families consisting of 4 adults and 6 kids. The layout of the house provided ample space for us to spread out as well as spend quality time together. The property is beautiful and the proximity to Jay Peak was great. By the second day we realized we were close enough to just gear up for skiing at the house, which made the whole process so easy. The house was well appointed and comfortable and we really enjoyed our visit.

Summary: We loved staying here! Well equipped kitchen, and lots of space! We had 3 adults and 3 teenagers and were very comfortable. 20-30 min drive to Craftsbury Outdoor Center. Very quiet. We all slept well.
