Summary: The cabin and its location are excellent, but the neighbors were inconsiderate and loud. The lake may be private, but there is public access close by and the neighbor’s dock, music and motorised toy speedboat (why?!) super annoying. Unfortunately, their presence spoiled our stay.

Summary: Can’t say enough about how clean and comfortable this cabin was, with great quality fixtures, appliances, comfortable furniture and very comfortable beds. Slept like a baby and we usually don’t sleep well away from home. We had unseasonably cold weather during our stay but between the furnace and wood stove we were never cold. The view is spectacular from the master bedroom overlooking a serene quiet frozen lake. There is a lake access just down the road in walking distance and the lake is used for ice fishing and skating. The hosts provided lots of firewood, and all amenities we didn’t want for anything. When we had a minor issue the response was quick and helpful. Our sons skied at Sunpeaks which is a 50 min drive using a backroad route that was a great experience in itself, winding through picturesque farms and valley views. Lots of great photo opportunities too! There is a grocery store, pharmacy and liquor store 15 min away too. Would definitely stay again and would love to see what it’s like in summer.

Summary: This beautiful log cabin gives nothing but good vibes. We've loved our stays here. Kids love fishing and catching minnows and using the rope swing. Adults love the dock, the paddle boards and unreal presentation of the Big Dipper!

Summary: We just got back from our stay feeling very relaxed and refreshed. Jacqueline’s cabin was the perfect spot on the lake. It was so nice to wake up in the morning being able to look at the lake and listen to the few loons. We enjoyed touring the surrounding areas and so appreciated coming back to our well appointed cabin. We loved being able to use the kayaks and went out several times for a quick paddle. We would definitely recommend this property to others especially if you want to unplug for a few days. Thanks so much Jacqueline. We loved it.

Summary: Stayed here in early January with our grown son and daughter. We skied at Sun Peaks during the day and had quiet family get-togethers each night. There's plenty of room and the place is well-stocked. We left before dark and returned after dark on a daily basis, so didn't have the opportunity to enjoy the property/lake. There is a private dock and outdoor fire pit to enjoy during warmer weather. It's a little far to the slopes (about an hour drive), but the roads are well maintained so it was easy getting there and back. We would definitely consider returning for another visit during the warmer months if the owners offered discounts to return visitors
