Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at the house. The area is so tranquil - you could go 2 weeks and not hear a car pass by. The area by the pool was fantastic with it's comfy day bed and loungers and this is where we spent most of our afternoons as we had very hot weather during our stay. In the mornings the cycling was great and the absence of traffic made for a more relaxing ride with the kids. The boulangerie at Bonnac is a 15 minutes cycle ride and the supermarkets at Limoges and Ambazac only a 15 minute drive. Golf-de-Porcelain just outside Limoges is an absolute gem and well worth a visit. Alain, our host, could not have been more accommodating or helpful - one of life's genuinely nice guys - nothing was too much trouble. Our only slight niggle was that the beds were much firmer than we are used to and the upstairs of the house has quite low ceilings and door frames leading to some bumped heads for the taller members of our group. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable stay in a beautiful part of France which I would thoroughly recommend.

Summary: You know the feeling when you see something and you think ‘mmm this looked bigger in the pictures i saw?’ Well our experience was the exact oppositie. When I walked up to the swimming pool and bar, I was suprised by size of the outside kitchen. We were with a big family of 7-10 people. This was no problem, because you had several lounge spots and seats you could sit or chill on your own. The house was lovely and litteraly everything you could think of was available. You just had to find it... It was nice to stay in a house which was filled with a lot of different stuff. So that you weren’t limited. I would recommend this house, also when you just want to fully relax and chill out during your stay.
