The heating system is another key part of our sustainable design. The cabin’s primary heat source is its charming stone fireplace, fueled by locally sourced firewood knots harvested from the surrounding woods. By using this renewable resource, we reduce reliance on electricity while ensuring the home remains warm and inviting during colder months. Gathering and utilizing firewood from the nearby forests is done with care to preserve the natural ecosystem, creating a truly harmonious relationship with the environment.
High-Season Rental Policy
Please note that during the high season (June 25 – August 27), rentals are available exclusively on a weekly basis, with Saturday as the changeover day.

Summary: The wooden construct of the house was impressive. Very nice and clean all over the rooms. Susanne and Kim are excellent hosts - very good at communicating before arrival. All 8 of us enjoyed a warm september-weekend on the terrace as well as visiting the wonderful surroundings.

Summary: This cabin was beautiful inside and out! Great surroundings made it a very nice getaway from the city. Maybe it was us who didn’t read the description enough but remember to bring EVERYTHING you need with you. Even staples like salt and pepper, oil, dishwasher detergent and most importantly toilet paper!!! Overall it was great and we will be back :)

Summary: We had a very nice holiday in a house of Kim and Susanne in Växtorp. It was hard to find the right house (in Sweden they have two house numbers). The house itself was very beautiful. The equipment in the house / kitchen was very good. A window wiper in the bathroom would still be useful. Kim and Susanne were very friendly and helpful. Kim told us about nice places and restaurants to go (such as Saluhall in Höganäs). In short, we had a wonderful holiday and would definitely recommend the houses of Kim and Susanne (in our view, the new house being built is more than worth a visit).

Summary: We were a large family of 9 people and the cabin were perfect for our needs. Plenty of room for socializing but also large enough bedrooms if you want to be alone. The cabin is very clean and modern but still feels cozy. Love the fireplace. The location is very nice in beatiful landscape and by car you can reach a lot of tourist spots easily: Båstad, Hovs Hallar, Kungsbygget, lake and beaches. The owners a very nice and quick to respond and help out if needed. Overall all of us are very satisfied with our stay and plan to return next summer.
