Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming and well-maintained home! Located in a great spot in Mahone Bay, the home is the perfect place to spend time with family and friends. The kitchen is well stocked with everything needed to prepare meals, the rooms are spacious and cozy with charming decor, and the beds are very comfortable with lovely linens. Jill is excellent to work with and was very responsive when we had questions. We cannot wait to return to this home away from home!!

Summary: This beautiful and comfortable heritge house was a perfect spot for a family vacation. Our group included 6 adults, as well as two children ages 3 and 5. The location of the home on Main Street allowed for easy access to shops, excellent restaurants and The Salt Box Brewery. Family members could come and go as they pleased, on foot, without the constant need for a vehicle. Day trips to Lunenburg, Chester, LaHavre, Peggy's Cove and Halifax were easy to make and there are many beautiful beaches close by. Our granddaughters particularly enjoyed the beach at the Oakland Conservation area which is just outside of town. There is a very well maintained trail which was great for wlaking, hiking and biking.

Summary: Jill is a great host. Excellent communications. This historic house is charming, updated and roomy with everything you could need. Comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms, large and welcoming gathering spaces: Living room, dining room and amazing kitchen! Steps from the center of Mahone Bay and it’s welcoming bakeries, coffee shops, breweries and restaurants. The perfect place to stop and stay awhile. Consider renting a bike and riding to Lunenburg or Martins River or further.

Summary: Property was in a perfect location, very close to shopping and restaurants. Atmosphere was very charming. Well equipped, quite comfortable. Would like Jill to call me. I’m interested to see if she would sell a picture she has in the house.

Summary: Perfect location walking to shops and restaurants. The home was historic, tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. A/C worked well, kitchen was best equipped I’ve ever seen, large dining room accommodated family dinners and beds were very comfy. The host was wonderful - very attentive, accommodating and fast in response. We will use this as our go to place when family visits.

Summary: The house felt like home as soon as we stepped inside. It had everything you could ask for and more. Beautiful furnishings, a lovely deck for lounging and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Would recommend it to friends and hope to rent it again in the future.
