2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom Oceanfront Boathouse on Beautiful Indian Point.
Welcome to a one of a kind Air Conditioned Boat House right on the Ocean. This Boat House is five minutes from Highway 103 and eight minutes from Mahone Bay which is great for shopping and enjoying delicious seafood. It's also less then 10 mins to world famous Oak Island. This 130 year old Boat House used to be the local Blacksmith Shop and has been recently updated and comes completely refurnished
Enjoy amazing Sunrises and Sunsets with a 180 degree view on either of your two amazing decks. Watch marine life passing by while you enjoy your morning coffee. Spend afternoons watching the boats go by, Kayaking and Paddle Boarding around the bay and fishing right from the dock. Four Kayaks, life jackets (many sizes) , water shoes, two floaties and two SUP's included with your stay. Swim right from the float dock or take the newly added stairs down to the water. Great Fishing for Mackerel and Squid. Very relaxing and quiet location.
This Boat House has 2 large bedrooms the Main Bedroom has a new queen size bed and the Second Bedroom has two single beds which is perfect for two couples or a family of four. It also has a dishwasher and washer and dryer to help maximize your stay. The main deck is very spacious with a fire table and is a great area for relaxing, having a BBQ or enjoying a feed of lobsters with family and friends.
The Boat House comes equipped with a Heat Pump, Water Cooler, Dishwasher, Full Size Washer and Dryer and all Household Amenities. It also has Dedicated High Speed Fibre Internet, Local Cable Channels, HBO, CBC GEM, Disney +, AMC, Britbox, Acorn, Discovery + and Amazon Movies and Music.
Come enjoy the beautiful East Coast of Canada in a place like no other. Relax and enjoy the seaside villages of Indian Point and Mahone Bay. A quick eight minute beautiful drive along the ocean and you arrive in the town of Mahone Bay which will fulfill all your shopping needs. Grab an amazing coffee and pastry at The Barn Social House. Have lunch or dinner at some of the local restaurants like Betty's Wood Fired Pizza, Oh My Cod, Mateus Bistro and Rebecca's Restaurant just to name a few. Don't feel like cooking just order in Pizza and Donairs from Recardo's Pizza.
If you enjoy Beer stop by our local Saltbox Brew Pub and then pick up some groceries and cocktail supplies and head back to your Oceanfront deck for a relaxing evening watching the stars. If you are lucky you may hear some church bells playing from The Indian Point Church that echo across the bay.
Private Boat tours of Oak Island can be booked with Tony from "The Curse Of Oak Island" through his company Salty Dog Sea Tours. Which are amazing and pick up and drop off can be arranged right from the dock.
This Boat House truly is a magical place with a great vibe. Located one hour from Halifax International Airport and twenty minutes from the Historic Town Of Lunenburg (Home Port Of The Bluenose). The Lunenburg Farmers Market is open year round and is open every Thursday from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm. You will not want to leave and it has all the amenities Mahone Bay has to offer without being right in town. Escape to the Boat House and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Summary: Visited during the off-season so was very quiet. Location is excellent with close proximity to Mahone Bay, and being on the water was amazing. The road is quiet as it a dead end so minimal traffic. House is well appointed with new appliances and very clean. Will stay again in the future.

Summary: This was my first visit to Nova Scotia, and I wanted a central location to explore all that the coast had to offer. I could not have lucked out with the weather, 70's to even 80-degrees and sunshine, and The Boathouse was perfect. Nothing like waking up to a sunrise over the water, watching the wildlife, boats and kayaks that enjoy Mahone Bay. I was able to spend two full days wandering around doing photography, Peggy's Cove, Mahone Bay, Lunenberg, Blue Rocks, Port Medway and Liverpool. The mattress was comfortable, the kitchen well stocked (though I never cooked) and a full size washer & dryer. You'll love The Boathouse, I sure did!

Summary: Perfect location and well-appointed cottage for me and my friends to use my runabout boat right from the new dock. Very quiet and picturesque waterfront road which is also nice for cycling or walking.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at the boathouse! The hosts are so kind and available if you need them. The location is perfect for relaxing, and the kayaks/fishing gear are an added bonus that we felt so lucky to have access to. We actually just enjoyed where we were rather than felt the need to go out. It is a hidden gem in Mahone Bay. We would 100% stay again!

Summary: Absolutely loved our stay at The Boathouse! We have even booked for the next two summers as we can’t wait to return. The Boathouse was perfect, very clean, great amenities, The Hosts Shireen & Andrew thought of everything to make our stay very comfortable & enjoyable. They are really nice people too, we feel like we have made new friends. We particularly enjoyed the kayaks. Indian Point/Mahone Bay is a great location for touring, boating, dining & shopping. Fabulous 180 degree water views from the many decks. We loved watching the boats go by and even saw a seal!
