All the amenities of home! Walking up to the house you already feel at home with the huge wrap around covered porch and open deck with AMAZING mountain views. Go through the front door and enter into this nicely decorated mountain cabin with vaulted wood ceilings and masonry gas burning fireplace. The loft with master bathroom is just right for snoozing and gazing at the stars! On the main level the bedroom and bathroom are well appointed. Everything you need is ready for you. The basement level boasts another family / TV room and covered porch. There are DVDS ready for you to watch, bring your own movies if you'd like or bring your firestick or ruko. Great internet here to stream all your favorites! There will be an additional charge of 35.00 per night for more than 6 guests.
Smoking is allowed outside on any of the covered porches or the deck and your big or little doggie is welcome as well (a fee will apply) MAX 2 DOGS. There is no cable or satellite tv at the cabin.

Summary: The cabin is gorgeous! The listing is fairly accurate with the exception of “bring your own Firestick for TV streaming”…the wifi can’t handle streaming or phone calls. But it is all good, it snowed on our trip so we did a lot of hiking around the cabin. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked and the cabin is decorated perfect.

Summary: Getting away from the business of work and life to spend a quiet week in this Cabin was one of the best experiences in the Smokey's so far. The cabin is spacious, with lots of land for pets, plenty of room inside and enough parking space for the whole family. Well decorated, stocked and cleaned, wonderful place to get away from everything while staying a short drive away from Asheville, Chattanooga, Gatlinburg and other top winter spots. A wonderful sight/view of the smokey mountain range when you wake up that leaves you breathless. Just the down time needed to get back to work in full spirits!

Summary: This was a great rental for families. Each of us had our own "area" so we were able to disengage when needed, but there was plenty of communal space and fun activities for when we wanted to be together. The outside areas and view were terrific. Very dog and cat friendly which was wonderful for our animal-loving family.

Summary: Just a few issues. Luckily they were minor but upon arrival all smoke alarms were beeping and could not get turned off because they were internally wired. After 30 min of “playing” with them my husband got them quiet! As soon as I opened the refrigerator i was shocked (and not too happy) about the cleanliness of it. I had to wipe down the whole refrigerator before unpacking my food. Upon leaving on Sunday in what was a small amount of directions for the house it was stated that we had to take the trash. Also stating that we would be left a “card” and instruction on where it could be dumped. With no instruction and no card of any kind lying around my daughter had to take all of the garbage in her car back to Atlanta! I loved the house but the wi-fi connection was no where close to being “great” as it was described……. In fact it was terrible. Communication before making the trip was not the best as well! But fortunately these were somewhat minor issues and otherwise enjoyed out stay!

Summary: Beautiful, quiet, mountain chalet that is convenient to lake Hiawassee & Murphy. Beautiful views from the living & the amazing deck. Great morning place to pull up the rockers & drink coffee & watch the squirrels scamper around getting ready for the winter months. Cell phone service with my ATT was almost non-existent. Had to go out in the driveway, stand on the car roof on one leg leaning to the southeast to get service. But the wifi was nice for doing emails & research. Saw some deer & turkey running across the neighbor's yard above. The clouds dancing across the tops of the mountains were quite dramatic with the changing leaves & sunrises & sunsets. The music CDs were a treasure trove of a variety of music. The folk artwork around the cabin was cool. I liked the critter on the porch made from a shovel. The hard water was rough on my skin. Investing in a good softener & green sand/ manganese rust filter would do a better job removing rust & reduce the maintenance of changing filters all the time as it automatically backwashes itself when needed. I've had one at my house for 16 years with no issues. Overall an excellent vacation get-away. Thank you for sharing this slice of heaven.
