Occupancy: Sawyer County has implemented new occupancy limits which impact all short-term rentals for bookings taken after June 2025. If you are having trouble finding a property large enough for your group, this is why! They have limited occupancy based on size of septic system. My limit is now 8 overnight guests. I can still allow more than 8 guests in the common areas inside the house and the large, flat lot by day, but I cannot host more than 8 guests overnight. I recommend booking inexpensive rooms at the nearby LCO casino to accommodate larger parties overnight. I have set my search terms for 8+ guests so that parties can read this and consider their options, but I will only be able to accommodate 8 overnight guests unless enough tourists complain to the county, and they remove the restrictions.

BOAT RENTALS: Check with Trail's End Resort which provides dockside marine gas just around the bend on Lac Courte Oreilles (3.3 miles), M&M Rental (10.8 miles), Lake Time Boats (14 miles) or Runamuk Rides (14.3 miles). Trail's End also offers great food, pets allowed on their patio while you dine.
PARKING: Gravel driveway (3 vehicles), cement area (3 vehicles), 1 dock for guest use where you can tie off two boats. 4 wheel drive recommended in winter as the driveway is a hill.
