In the heart of Black Perigord (Lascaux), an area rich in history, gastronomy and entertainment, in a 2 hectare estate with an exceptional view, a charming house of 240 m2 offering a harmonious living environment, 3 large equipped terraces, a new 2024 outdoor swimming pool heated from May to October.
Sheets provided (beds prepared), 2 towels per person and 1 for the swimming pool are provided. Household included in the price.
Easy to live with several couples: enough space for everyone's privacy, while being able to easily meet for meals and activities around the pool. 2 modern and functional kitchens including one near the swimming pool, 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms. Stylish decoration. The house can accommodate 12 people, plus 1 child and equipment for 1 baby.
The property consists of 2 spaces connected by the large terrace.
In the main house: an original part with walls all exposed stone with a large living room 50 m2 with an open kitchen new March 2018 very well equipped (several services table, 2 refrigerators, 1 freezer, 1 oven, 5 fires, Microwave, dishwasher ...) with a beautiful view on the garden, large table, sofa in front of the fireplace and Satellite TV;
New part: a large living room 40 m2 with 2 large sofas and armchairs, 1 office, cathedral ceiling, bay windows, open on the terrace and garden; 1 bathroom with shower, separate toilet;
Upstairs:
1 bathroom with shower and toilets,
1 bedroom with double bed , with walk-in wardrobe, washbasin, beautiful view of the park, sun dice 6am;
1 beautiful bedroom with double bed with view on the park,
I bedroom with 2 beds of 90 cm.
In the other part of the property:
separate access 1 bedroom with 1 double bed and 1 sofa bed opening onto a beautiful terrace of 20 m2 with a superb view, 1 bathroom with shower, separate toilet;
By another separate entrance 1 room with 2 beds of 90 cm, 1 bathroom with shower, separate toilet, access terrace pool;
by another separate entrance terrace pool 1 room with 1 double bed, 1 bathroom with shower and toilet.
A Kitchen NEW March 2018, all equipped with hob, hood, large oven, dishwasher, refrigerator near the pool.
All the terraces are equipped.
Equipment for baby: 2 : folding bed, mattress, high chair, bathtub.
Internet, Wifi. Private swimming pool.

Summary: Area is super, very nice 'base camp' for trips in the area. The house urgently need to be renovated. Lot's of lights were not working, no closets for clothes in the bedrooms, most of the sunbeds needed to be replaced, sun umbrella needed to be fixed, we tried to temperarly fix them with tolson tapes. Beside the accidental meeting with the cleaning lady, we didn't see anyone... only the pool boy past bye 2 x early in the morning. Cleaning lady was on her own and was just not able to properly clean the house. Many of our guests were cleaning their rooms themselves. We had a room with a fire place and a dusty bookshelf. On the floor there was still a handkerchief of one of the earlier guests. No change of towels for 14 days. On the other hand.. we had an issue with the coffee machine and the BBQ and after contacting the owner these were fixed same day.

Summary: Had a lovely time. House spacious and interesting. Only criticisms are it could do with 2 or 3 fans as we were very hot at night particularly in the rooms by the pool. Some of the outdoor furniture was looking a little tired and needed a refresh. Other than that it was great. Domestic lady who greeted us was lovely despite having her work cut out cleaning such a big house on her own. All in all a great week.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay- perfect for a large group, including an infant and 2 children. Everyone enjoyed the pool and the upper terrace for breakfast and dinner. Well located and spectacular views. Line and Bruno were very communicative and prone to respond quickly.
