The Hyde Park neighborhood, in midtown Kansas City, is located between the Country Club Plaza and downtown, and is just minutes away from the Plaza, the Nelson and Kemper museums, Crown Center, the Crossroads Arts District and all the entertainment and cultural amenities the city has to offer.
The Hyde Park neighborhood is located in the area from 31st street south to 47th street between Gillham Road and Troost. The area contains approximately 1,500 homes and many historic apartment buildings.

with easy access to any stores, restaurants and local attractions that you can think of.

We are only minutes from Sun Fresh and Midtown Market grocery store. 2-3 minute drive to CVS, Walgreens, and Starbucks.
First floor: One bedroom, dining room, kitchen with washer and dryer, full bath and living room with a sofa bed.
Second floor: 2 bedrooms with queen size beds, living room, bathroom, dining room, kitchen as well as a washer and dryer
The best way to get around is driving or catching a ride with Uber or Lyft which are always readily available.
The driveway is narrow. If you have a large vehicle, you may not be able to get up to the back. There is plenty of street parking.
Pets are welcome for a nominal pet fee -$40 per pet. $100 per pet for long term stays.
Pets must be crated while unsupervised, house trained, and are not allowed on the furniture or in the beds.
No parties or gatherings.

Summary: We had a great visit to KC! Everything was well stocked, clean, and all 6 of us were comfortable. The location was perfect, steps away from beautiful gillham park, and central to so many fun activities. The neighborhood was very safe. I’d recommend it to anyone!

Summary: The house was super charming. It was close to everything that we were interested in doing. Most of the museums that we wanted to visit, were not open on the days that we stayed. But the food scene was fantastic. Many gluten free and vegetarian options. The guide the host left in the house was really helpful!
