Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was clean and the updates the owners have done set it apart from others we've stayed at. The location is very private and the cabin provided everything we needed. While the wood burning fireplace looks nice the smell when we first entered the cabin was very strong. It did get better as time passed. Saw a bald eagle fly along the river as we enjoyed our morning coffee sitting by the wall of windows. Communication with Jon was good. We would definitely stay again.

Summary: If you are looking for peace and tranquility you found the perfect place! The cabin is completely updated with modern finishings without loosing the charm of a Log Cabin. We used the fireplace every day to complete the coziness of this beautiful place. We planned to stay for an extended 3-day weekend but when it was time to go we just couldn’t leave! We were able to extend our stay into the next week! Jon is so kind and responsive and incredibly easy to work with. I’m already looking on Zillow for a place to buy just like this one!! We will definitely be back.

Summary: Nice getaway spot to enjoy quiet indoors or outdoors, and not too far from cities, Lake Michigan, or wine country. Just off the main roads enough to be secluded, but the dirt roads weren't too bad. Lots of cooking-ware, nice shower, and comfortably open great room. Could fit a few couple or family nicely.

Summary: Planning this trip online and only having pictures to choose from you never know what you’re walking into for real. Pulling up we were excited to see the beautiful cabin perfectly secluded just as we wanted..and from the second we walked in, we knew we picked the perfect place! The pictures look nice but even they don’t do this cabin justice, it’s absolutely stunning. Not only is the cabin cute and cozy on the outside, but the inside is even more inviting! The big open windows allow you to enjoy the beautiful view of everything. Sunrise, sunset, the animals and all the rest of the nature around you from the comfort of the couch. I also couldn’t believe how comfortable the beds were, I slept better that weekend than I have in years. Everything was clean and even over accommodating compared to some places I’ve stayed. We fished, cooked, had fires, it was wonderful. Just a quiet weekend away for us to unwind. We found a few hidden surprises that weren’t listed in the description of the cabin that just gave us so much joy and made our stay that much easier and better..it’s the little things in life lol (Cooking area attached to fire pit, extra towels, washcloths and other toiletries, a verity of games and puzzles, some binoculars and books on the birds we were seeing, and a few others I’ll let you find for yourself) :) Jon was an absolute pleasure to rent from, if I had any questions or concerns, he got back with me quickly and was always so nice and understanding. I would definitely recommend this cabin and I will more than likely be planning a trip there for next year! Maybe that time we’ll use the canoe or kayaks lol. We loved it and we know you will too! 5 stars across the board for Jon and his beautiful cabin in the woods!

Summary: While a bit small for 4 adults with only one bathroom, the cabin itself was lovely. The wood working is gorgeous, great floor plan in kitchen to cook, 2 gorgeous docks. Very peaceful. The water runs a little fast and is a bit deep with steep stairs going down. All in all, we loved it!

Summary: This was an amazing little getaway for my family. Quiet, secluded, close to the river with a little pontoon deck to swim and kayak from. Very well maintained and clean cabin. Cozy and perfect to just unplug. Will definitely be booking again.
