Welcome to Big Lake! Relax with family & friends on this low-key, all-sports lake ripe with fishing and wildlife. Private dock available for swimming, fishing and water sports. Winter brings snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, hunting and cozying indoors around a large wood-burning fireplace.
Nestled on a peaceful lake located approximately 2.5 hours northwest of Metro Detroit and 1 hour north of Grand Rapids with close proximity to beaches, trails, lazy rivers, golf, casino, spa and more! Day trip to popular beaches & charter fishing to Traverse City, Ludington, Manistee & Frankfurt all up to 1.5 hours away!
OUTDOOR LIVING:
2 large patios, 1 small patio w/bistro set off master bedroom, volleyball court, wood fire pit, gas fire pit, bicycles (in various sizes), oversized trampoline, toddler swing & slide, gas grill, charcoal grill, large dock area for fishing, tent & tons of outdoor seating including Adirondack chairs
WATER SPORTS:
Private dock access includes fishing poles, tubes, kayaks, paddle boat and life vests (in various sizes). Ample room to park your boat and jet skis - motorized watercrafts parked on the property are not included in rental.

Summary: We loved staying here! Best property instructions and information I’ve ever received from a host. We only needed to contact the host with a couple questions and they were quick responding. Lovely lake view, relaxing, clean, and fun! Our whole family enjoyed our weekend and would love to come back again next year!

Summary: This property was awesome! We have stayed at many vacation rentals and this one was stocked the best by far...there was absolutely nothing we needed and so much to keep us entertained. Such an amazing location, private beach, right on the water. Could not have been better. We would absolutely rent this home again. Thank you Brown family!!

Summary: The home. Is very well maintained, comfortable, cozy & exactly as it is pictured. Great size for a family or group of friends. Lake was very quite. Not sure if it was because of the late season. Only downside...if you have to do any sort of computer work while there, bring your own hot spot. Wifi is very "sketchy". Otherwise everything was lovely. You can tell the host takes great pride in their home and shows in all the details.

Summary: Really great fishing lake with plenty of room in the home for sleep and gathering. Loved the sunroom and the extra touches the owners had to make the stay more comfortable. Main con was no stairs down to the water, this would have made our stay much more enjoyable. Owner was super quick to respond to all messages and very kind. Would definitely stay again.
