Summary: It was a pleasure to stay here. Comfortable and well designed with every possible need anticipated and satisfied. The skylights have electric shutters for those of us that nap in the afternoon! This is an excellent facility run by great people.

Summary: Another refreshing stay at a beautifully presented and spotlessly clean cottage. When the weather turned cold, the cottage remained warm. The owners were particularly helpful when we unexpectedly needed to change our travel arrangements. Although late November is far from high season in Britanny most restaurants were open, service was good and we would have no hesitation in recommending the cottage for a late autumn break.

Summary: We stayed for 7 days in September, before moving further south, but regretted we had not booked to stay at Le Rest for longer. We have absolutely no hesitation in thoroughly recommending this property. The owners, Sterenn and David, are very friendly. Both are nurses and were able to help us through an unexpected medical emergency that occurred during our visit. We can't praise them highly enough.

Summary: The owner converted this property himself with great skill and attention to detail. As a cottage it is probably the best finished we're rented in over 50 gites hired over 35 years. It is also the cleanest we've ever seen! It is fully equipped with everything you could need on vacation including good, big towels. While you'll need GPS to locate it, the property is close to the D786 which will quickly get you to Ploumanach, the Granite Coast, Perros-Guirec,Treguier and Paimpol each of which is worth seeing and have good restaurants.In the other direction St-Michel-en-Greve is a long shallow beach, Locquirec, St-Jean-du-Doigt and Cairn de Barnenez are worth visiting and there are excellent restaurants about, including one at St-Samson (reserve a table). We've stayed many times at Carantec but this property is more convenient and a real bargain! Highly recommended.
