Our waterfront home sits 30 feet from the open water of Lake Tarpon with spectacular views from within the house or out back. Sunsets are amazing and a westerly sea breeze from the Gulf makes outdoor days comfortable even in the summer! In a quiet semi rural neighborhood only several minutes from downtown historic Tarpon Springs. Large covered dock for watching the fun in the cool shade. Lake Tarpon is the largest lake in the Tampa Bay area and is nationally known for bass fishing. The lake is perfect for watersports as depth ranges from 6 to 14 feet so bring your boats and water toys! Lake Tarpon has two county parks each with first class boat ramps. Enjoy the salt water too, there is a boat ramp on the Anclote river (which leads to the Gulf) only 10 minutes away.
House has beds to accommodate 9 comfortably. Additional guests upon approval for extra fee.

Summary: The inside of the house is beautiful, comfortable and well stocked. Owners are very nice to work with. Dock area needed to be wiped down and it would have been nice to have 4 Adirondack chairs or something more comfortable to sit on, out there. I would give the inside a 10 and the outside a 7. I was disappointed that the John boat was not available. I would definitely go back to this rental again but I would bring my own comfy beach chairs and my own kayaks next time. Overall if you are traveling in a large group this is ideal. I was on a romantic weekend with my partner. We had a wonderful time.

Summary: Property is beautiful, Gary the host is outstanding. Neighbors are very friendly and helpful. Very comfortable living space for 7 golfers, the lake is fantastic, everything we needed in the kitchen area for cooking and the grill worked great for cooking out. Would rent this property again in a heartbeat.

Summary: Lovely location and so perfect for our group of 7 ladies. The home is very comfortable with plenty of room inside and out. Very nice location right on Lake Tarpon. You can view the pretty sunsets without leaving the yard! Would definitely love to book with our VRBO hosts again.

Summary: Great place for our family to stay as our son was married nearby at a venue called Barn at Crescent Lake. Rooms and bed arrangement worked well for all of us (6, actually 7 when groom stayed with us one night) to bed comfortable.

Summary: Location was great (nearby shopping for groceries, etc.), beautiful sunset, kitchen very well stocked, plenty of room for gathering with family, and there were many games, DVDs, etc. available for us to use. Property owners informed us about fireworks during our stay, which was an unplanned treat. They were very friendly, communicative, and welcoming. Really wonderful place for our family reunion, which allowed my dad, his brother and sister to enjoy spending time together (88, almost 90, and almost 86 years old). Thank you for providing such a welcoming place for others to enjoy - it was a true blessing…

Summary: Wonderful location, beautiful lake view with many water birds and the occasional alligator (that we were told lived there). Close to many attractions which we thoroughly enjoyed. Very clean and well appointed. Highly recommended!
