3 Bedroom Cottage in Wellesley Island

This is a very special property that was built in the 1950's. The entire cottage has been updated while still keeping the original charm of a special getaway. A winding wooded driveway, which ends at the cottage, giving complete privacy from the street. Enter the cottage into a great room which is surrounded by windows and sliding doors giving a spectacular view of the St. Lawrence River. The kitchen recently renovated, has a full size refrigerator, conventional oven and an island all facing the open living and dining areas. A beautiful stone fireplace with a gas insert will add to the ambiance and keep it warm on cool nights. There is a large Smart TV in front of two comfortable leather couches. The cottage has 2 bedrooms on the main floor with an adorable loft above. The Master bedroom has it own 1/2 bath, Smart TV and a queen size bed that is facing the River. The cozy second bedroom has two twin beds. The loft features a pull down ladder for easy access to a charming area that easily sleeps two. The new washer / dryer are conveniently located in their own laundry room. Wake up to the sunrise while sitting on the spacious deck that feels like it is on top of the water. Enjoy the international ships that pass so close you feel like you could touch them. A St. Lawrence granite fire place is located at the waters edge with a picnic table, Adirondack chairs and a beautiful view of the 1000 Island Bridge.
Travel back and forth to the main land across the stunning 1000 Island Bridge using a bridge pass is included with your stay.

Summary: This is an excellent property! Clean and so modern inside! It had every amenity we could have wanted and more. Watching the BIG ships go by was our goal and this house was perfect! I've been visiting the St. Lawrence River for over 40 years and I highly recommend this beautiful cabin in the Narrows!

Summary: We arrived to a clean and inviting home. Carlos and Susan decorated the place perfectly and left goodies such as a bottle of wine and cheese to enjoy. The views were spectacular. This vacation spot can be a calm getaway away from the hustle and bustle or busy with little day trips. Carlos checked on us and was extremely accommodating. We will book again.

Summary: I visited this property with my family which included a 73 year old mother, and 2 kids aged 8 and 11. Overall I can’t say enough positive things about this cottage. Susan and Carlos have thought of everything! The cottage was cleaner than clean. All of the amenities felt brand new! Beds were super comfortable and the view from every location of the cottage was amazing! While this is by no means a criticism but what would make this cottage over the top would be a longer dock to get out past the rocks in the water. It was difficult for us to swim. However I must reiterate that I would not hesitate to stay here again. Thanks again Carlos and Susan for making our trip a very memorable one. Ken

Summary: There is a sense of calm as soon as you walk in the door. Sit on the deck that has a very wide view of the river! Watch the ships as they glide passed you so close and quietly. This was my 3rd visit & can't say enough about the property or Susan and Carlos!!
