Private lakefront property on beautiful Lake Cowichan BC Canada.
Your accommodation includes a 30 foot fully equipped travel trailer/sleeps 4 with separate queen bedroom/ curtained area with 2 bunks. / wifi /microwave/oven/fridge-freezer/bath/shower. Dishes/ pans cutlery. Out door cooking area includes BBQ/grill/toaster oven and covered eating area. Parking for 2 cars
On a private fenced landscaped property, just a short walk to town. Large Private dock with beach bar!, Enjoy the sun and water. There is room on the dock to tie your boat. Evenings around the fire roasting marshmallows. (of course fires are allowed only when town permits during dry summer months)
We,(The owners), will also be spending this summer season at the lake in our RV, both RV units have a private set up, and the property has plenty of room. We are looking forward to sharing our lakefront, and meeting new friends.
Minimal extra charges for boat moorage, inquire at time of booking.

Summary: Great host's and beautiful location. Walking distance to stores and restaurants and the lake is steps away. The trailer was well equipped and beautifully decorated. I would definitely stay again.

Summary: The Hosts were welcoming and friendly. The RV unit was clean and well stocked with housewares etc. Next time I will bring a French coffee press and pillows and blankets along with linens. The weather was awesome . It was the place to be in a heatwave. Walkable to Lake Cowichan Town and especially enjoyable when you discover the forest path. If you have a boat it is the ideal place because of beautiful dock. I enjoyed the experience as I enjoy swimming and kayaking and snorkeling. If you are looking for a relaxing glamping getaway this is it. In my view one of the best locations to get the full Lake Experience.

Summary: The property is well maintained. The Hosts are welcoming and friendly. The RV is well equipped. The location of this getaway is ideal. Easy walking distance to Lake Cowichan if you want to have a meal out or join the tubers floating down the river. The Lake is clean and clear and great for swimming and the set up at Point Ideal Road is perfect if you like to swim and kayak or bring your boat to fish or water ski. I would recommend this getaway for anyone who loves hanging out by the water and wants a relaxing quiet holiday.

Summary: Point Ideal is aptly named neighborhood so close to town. Property is very large and deep. It is set up to relax and chill out. With lawn for games, walk in lakefront, excellent swimming and large dock. Marlin the dog is big and gentle. Deb and Orton are easy going hosts who make you feel very welcome. Definitely recommend and planning to stay again.
