3 Bedroom House in Shore Acres, St. Petersburg

A beautiful waterfront home in the popular and quiet Shore Acres neighborhood in northeast St. Petersburg-minutes from downtown St. Petersburg, restaurants, museums and the beaches. The property is on a canal with beautiful wide view and close proximity to go to the Weedon Island Preserve and the famous " shallow spot" where boats, kayakers and paddle boarders meet on the weekends. The property is a newly renovated 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home that can sleep 8 and has a gorgeous pool. Please note the pool is not heated and the hot tub is not a typical hot tub, it's just a shallow sitting area, just part of the pool so not heated as well.
Guests can enjoy hi-speed wireless internet, access to stand-up paddle boards, kayaks, an outdoor grill, and an outdoor fire pit (use of these items are at your own risk). The home is situated on a wide waterfront canal that has a dock and you are welcome to bring your boat to tie up along the dock or rental boats are available nearby. You are a 15 minute bike ride from downtown St. Petersburg (bike rentals nearby), the museums, and miles of waterfront parks- or spend the day exploring miles of waterfront trails in Weedon Island by kayak or paddle board. St Petersburg Beach is an easy 20 minute drive , Busch Gardens is 45 minute , and Disney is 90 minutes from the house.
Master bedroom has a Queen bed with walk in en suite bathroom(open wet room type bathroom with no shower door or bathroom door) and a double bed murphy bed pull down in walk in closet room attached to master bedroom, (no door between bedroom into closet where the murphy double bed is) in one guest bedroom there is a king bed and the other guest bedroom has a double bed( there are slider pocket doors that open from that bedroom into the master bedroom but there is also another door so, the room has another entrance and can be totally private from master bedroom) and hall bathroom with glass shower enclosures, no bathtubs in the home. This property has family photos displayed as we use this property as well and is not decorated as a generic rental property.

You will be responsible for any damages to the property during your stay caused by you or your party. Check in after 4p.m. Check out by 10 am.
No extra guests. Only people listed on the reservation are allowed in the house. Including guests not staying over. Must get owner permission.
No noise after 10 pm. Be respectful to the neighbors. Absolutely no glass by the pool. Pool filtration system is set to operate for your stay but is off limits and not for guests to adjusts settings. Swim at your own risk.
Please be advised that there may be brief weekly maintenance crews outside the property for pool, garbage landscaping during your stay.

Summary: This home was beautiful! We loved using the paddle boards and kayaks. Every night we would see dolphins swim out to the bay. Highly recommend!

Summary: We had a wonderful time at Trevor and Tom’s place. Everything was exactly as described and even better than the pictures. The home and grounds are very clean. We stayed for a week so we did see the landscape/pool crew during our stay. They were incredibly fast and did not disturb us at all. It was definitely worth it to have such a clean pool and outdoor area. The inside of the home was also very clean with all of the amenities we could have needed. Trevor and Tom also left us a bottle of wine at check in which we enjoyed and thought was such a nice touch. There were plenty of pool towels, bath towels, and the kitchen was fully stocked with all utensils/cooking equipment we needed. The house was a great size for our group. We traveled with infants/kids so we had lots of extra stuff. We found that the house had more than enough space to fit us comfortably. The location was very quiet but close drive to downtown. We were able to take strolls through the neighborhood and to the convenient store down the street but there are no other stores/restaurants within walking distance. We didn’t mind and just drove the 7 minutes drive to downtown to walk around there. We would definitely recommend staying at Trevor and Tom’s place. It truly was such a wonderful home and made our vacation.

Summary: First I’d like to say that we would stay here again. House was clean and back yard was amazing. Wish it was communicated that the hot tub doesn’t work. Maybe it was but I missed it. Was a let down. Kitchen was well stocked and really the focal point of house outside of the backyard. I most certainly understand that this house has an owner but the abundance of family photos was a bit odd. Wasn’t a warm feeling and made it difficult to relax; like we were staying in someone’s private home vs a rental. Not trying to sound rude, but we rent 2-3 homes per year and not once have we stayed in a rental that has a family photo let alone 20+. All of that one can just let go, the one item that made me give this a 4 rather than a 5 was the lack of privacy of the other 3 beds. There is 1 king room; fully private. The other two rooms are connected and the Murphy bed is basically in the 2nd bathroom. I most certainly understand why it is set up the way it is, but I feel it wasn’t communicated nor shown in pictures the set up. The other 3 beds have zero privacy. And the 2nd bathroom cannot be used if the Murphy Bed is in use - so a 3bd house really has 1 bathroom. Owners did reach out immediately upon booking and explained the ADA bath and track in bedroom, so we were expecting that. But what we had no clue is the Murphy Bed is basically in the bathroom. The backyard was amazing. We loved the two palms. So quiet and so peaceful. We spent 90% of our time out back. Neighborhood is super adorable. No interaction with any neighbors. Short drive to downtown St Pete which is why we were in town. Overall great experience. Just wanted to share a few items.

Summary: This property is amazing, the location and amenities are great. The pool was awesome and the backyard setting on the water with a dock was fantastic. There is a covered outdoor space with plenty of comfortable patio furniture and the home itself is updated and clean. Special attention is given in access to pool toys, life jackets, beach towels, kayaks and paddle boards which can be used right from the back yard. The owners were very available if needed and even provided local food suggestions. St Pete's has a cool vibe and downtown is only about 14 mins from the property, beaches are only 30 to 40 mins away, navigating was simple.

Summary: We had such a great time at this house. We took out the kayaks and paddle boards a few times. Saw dolphins and a manatee. Enjoyed the pool & the backyard. It rained all day one day and we still enjoyed the yard along with playing some games and making dinner. We hope to stay again next time we are in town.

Summary: We really enjoyed staying at Trevor and Tom’s home for our 2021 Florida family vacation. We all loved the wonderful pool, especially our grandchildren! And the guys enjoyed doing some fishing from the dock. The hosts were very good with communicating with us and made sure that the home was clean and well stocked with all the essentials, and lots of nice extras, too! 😊 The location is very convenient to the downtown area with lots of great restaurants and the newly opened Pier. And it’s only a short drive to the many beautiful beaches nearby. We made some treasured family memories at this great home in Shore Acres!! ❤️
