There are several things we pride ourselves about our vacation home, and feel like we do better than others, and certainly things you wouldn't find in a hotel:
Water: We are right on the Rock River which connects to Lake Koshkonong, we have our own private pier that you can park your boat at. You'll have to use one of the many public boat launches, but most have free parking. We have four kayaks available for use as well. The Rock River is connected and able to be driven by boat to Lake Koshkonong. Lake Koshkonong is a 10,000 acre lake and is great for boating, water skiing, or any other recreational water activities.
Comfy beds:
We use our vacation home too, so we want it to be as nice and comfortable as our home. You'll find some owners or people managing the property have never slept in the beds of their properties. We've stayed in each bedroom, just to make sure there aren't any weird annoyances or uncomfortable issues. You know, like the light from the window that perfectly blinds you as the sun rises..
Each bed has a fluffy down comforter, 1200 thread count sheets, and four pillows. There are a total of 6 bedrooms. 1 King, 5 Queens, 2 twins. Two Queen Air mattresses, and two sofas.
Full kitchen:
We have a fully stocked kitchen. Full service, glasses, plates, silverware, mugs, bowls. We have enough place settings for large groups. We have pots, pans, serving utensils, a blender, toasters and appliances if you feel like cooking during your stay. We have enough seating for over 17 guests, with seating for 12 at the dining room table. We have plastic kids cups/utensils/plates and a high chair.
Entertainment:
We have a 70" 4K LED HDTV in one of the living rooms with a Roku with Netflix. Each bedroom has 55" 4K Roku Smart TVs. There is also a 55" TV in the dining room/kitchen area that's perfect for watching shows or listening to music/Spotify/Pandora. We have several games and board games in the dresser near the dining room table.
Patio:
We have a huge patio with seating for several people. On the patio, we have a propane fire pit and propane grill for your use.
Secluded:
We are on a private road with only 3 other houses. Our place is very quiet at night. We are right on the water with a huge patio and our own private pier. It is a couple sets of stairs down to the river though, but there is a railing on each side of the staircase and the steps are in good condition.
Space:
This place has a great view of the Rock River, it is very secluded and on a wooded lot. We have a circle driveway with room for plenty of vehicles. Sitting on the pier or deck and just enjoying nature and the sound of the water is wonderful. We have five bedrooms and a ton of beds, so you are welcome to bring your family and friends to enjoy it with you!
We do not allow parties or events. We respect our neighbors and our neighborhood. Please keep noise down outside after 9PM. We reserve the right to evict in the event of any party or noise complaints. Additional guests beyond what was listed on the booking are not allowed. We unfortunately do not allow pets, we understand many of our guests are looking for a place that allows your furry family to join you, but due to some allergy issues we can't allow pets.

Summary: The owners helped throughout every stage before check in making it easy. They were also super communicative throughout the entire stay. The house was just as described and we had so much fun while we we there.

Summary: This was a very nice property for a group of friends to gather for a weekend. The kitchen is exceptionally well stocked, and all the beds were comfy. We liked the big kitchen/dining area and the fact that there were two living room/loungy areas.

Summary: We enjoyed our staying , we had everything we needed for our big family gather with plenty activities to do with children that joined the trip. Exellent place to enjoy with a big group. Host were easy to access and very welcoming to sudjest extra tips on things available on site to do. Very enjoyable experience

Summary: The lake house had plenty of indoor space and was well stocked with paper towels, toilet paper, soaps. Plenty of towels washcloths kitchen towels were available to use also. Very limited outdoor space but extremely large deck. The owners were very accommodating as brought up her life jackets that were missing, and told us where baby gates were located. The owners were very easy to work with. The deck outside was cleaned off by the renter. A little unsteady as far as steps and older construction. Also some bedrooms need room darkening window shades. Two Kayaks were used by us and paddles. Plenty of blue gills were caught with our equipment.

Summary: The house was very clean and roomy. Gaining access was easy. The driveway is a bit of a challenge for boat trailers. I wouldn't drive up to the house with a trailer again. Next time we will drop the boat in and leave the trailer at the launch. I did leave the trailer at the launch for Memorial Day Weekend and didn't have any issues.

Summary: We had a wonderful girls weekend and really enjoyed this home. There is plenty of bedrooms and beds space for a group. The lower level living space was perfect for meeting in the living room or spending time around the dinner table. It is a beautiful view out the back deck overlooking the river. Perfect spot for a beautiful sunrise

Summary: There were 7 High School gals in our group this year, we have been getting together for the last 13 years. We stayed Wednesday thru Sunday. Three of us had our own bedroom, 2 sisters and 2 cousins shared the other 2 bedrooms. We had plenty of seating in family room to watch movies. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you would need for preparing your meal. The back deck was very large, only used the part closest to the water. We all truly enjoyed our stay.

Summary: We had a fabulous time at this property. Our boats were secured to the pier for easy access to boating and fishing. , the kitchen was well stocked with any utensil or dish needed for cooking, the game cabinet had many choices, the bedrooms were comfortable and private and there were plenty of bathrooms to meet the needs of our group of 12. We never felt crowded - even in the gathering spaces where we ate, played games and watched football.
