Summary: I’d give 10 stars if I could! We had the most wonderful two week stay here. It is a beautiful house in a perfect location. The house had everything we needed and has plenty of space for human guests and for our dogs, they loved it just as much as we did. The area is outstanding, quiet and peaceful with beautiful empty beaches within walking distance or a short drive from the house. On our first day, we saw a pod of dolphins that put on a spectacular display for us 🐬 Belmullet is a lovely wee town with exceptional restaurants and cafes, delicious food & staff who couldn’t be friendlier or more helpful. The local people are really friendly, stopping to pass the time of day and making time for each other, something that is a thing of the past in other places I have visited. Such a special place and very heartwarming. Our host Yvonne was excellent with her communications and if she could help in any way, she would. Checking in was easy and there was a very thoughtful welcome gift on our arrival. Yvonne allowed us to fix some wire to the gate so our dogs would be kept safe. We really appreciated being able to do that 🐾 We were so very lucky with beautiful sunny weather for most of our stay, so we have come home feeling totally refreshed and the five hour drive was well worth it. If I had one recommendation, it would be for the caretakers of this beautiful house to ‘up their game’ by way of cleaning (hence only giving 4* for cleanliness) and presentation. Thank you Yvonne.

From the moment I booked, they were responsive and attentive, providing detailed instructions and answering all my questions promptly. Their hospitality truly enhanced my experience, making me feel welcome and well taken care of throughout my stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a perfect blend of tranquility and accessibility, with the added bonus of a fantastic host who goes above and beyond!

Summary: This property needs some love. We coped with the cooker not working but the skip turning up was a bit much! Bedding not ironed. Windows need cleaning. Everything looks like our booking was a surprise to Vrbo !

Summary: As always in life... if the kids are alright, everything is alright!! Everybody has enjoyed the stay in this property, in walking distance to the most beautiful beach, that we have ever experienced in Ireland, so much. It is spacious and well equiped. As we had looked for a week rest from all the hustle and bustle, we found the perfect place. We are already making plans for coming back... and not just because the kids are insisting 😉.

Summary: We had a lovely week in Aughleam. We were a group of 3 adults and 4 kids ranging from 3-11. The 3 older kids attended the local surf camp for the week (1 minute on the bike door to beach!) which they thoroughly enjoyed rain or sun. There are some amazing beaches to be enjoyed so close to the house. And everything we needed to enjoy our week was available to us. Would definitely recommend a stay here. Kids and adults had a fabulous time!

Summary: We really enjoyed our two week stay in this property. It hits the mark on every point....near the beach, great loop walk, fantastic views ... we managed to get some great weather. Yvonne was available if we needed anything (not that we did) and the welcome was on the money after a long drive. A couple of things to note Glosh is remote, the weather can be changeable.....
