Summary: The setting is wonderful, with a huge, secure garden, with great pool. There is plenty of space to soak up the sun, or sit in the shade. The house is spacious, with a well equipped kitchen, and a roomy lounge. There is a great outside dining and sitting area on the veranda. The bedrooms are of good size and the beds comfortable. My only negatives were 1) the acoustics of the house mean sound carried throughout. Once the first person gets up in the morning, everyone gets up. 2) the large twin bedroom is open plan, with no door to it, so with the acoustics as they are, you hear every sound from the rest of the house. 3) the internet was down all week and the 5G signal weak and in and out. Not a problem for most, but unfortunately for us, one of our family had to be in regular contact with home, which made things difficult. Other than that, it was a great stay in a beautiful part of Spain.

Summary: Everything about this place was a pleasure. We had been travelling around Northern Spain and wanted somewhere we could meet up with family and relax. Juan's house was perfect, and we only left in order to buy groceries. A magnificent pool, extensive grounds - we used the football pitch a lot - and a number of different places to sit outside, some perfectly shaded. The BBQ area was great, and used frequently. The house itself was very well equipped, with plenty of room for the 6 of us (there was an entire bedroom/sitting area that we did not use at all). Juan and his family live on the adjacent property, and were very welcoming, leaving us to enjoy the peaceful surroundings but always available to assist. We would love to return in the future, and highly recommend it!

Summary: Idilic retreat, yet close to town and main highway connection to visit all of Galicia and N. Portugal. House has many ammenities and comforts to easily accomodate a family of 10 and even host a family reunion of 20! The kids loved the pool and soccer field, while adults relaxed in the tranquil nature surroundings. The owner, Juan and grounds keeper Esteban are readily responsive if needed. We made incredible family memories! Gracias Juan por compartir su maja casa con nosotos!

Summary: We spent two weeks in this wonderful house. Perfect setting surrounded by lush garden planting and lawns with outside eating areas and an industrial-scale bbq. Pool was great - odd shape but really big with deep and shallow bits. We spent most of the time by the pool or the comfortable veranda which wraps around the front of the house. The house is equally comfortable and well- equipped inside. The owners were very helpful and welcoming.

Summary: we was in this fine house for a week in oct.2013, we was 10 pax. in this house, and was the house super for us, with the space inside and outside with a splenndid pool, so the children had a super time too, so this house and the staff there goes with it we give 5 stars, ouers best hollyday ever , tanks. all the best from us johansens from the north.( Faroe Islands )

Summary: We arrived on 02-08-2013 in Ponteareas and got a very warm welcome from the family Torron! When we entered the garden, we saw that it was even bigger then we thought it would be. A fine entrance for a beautiful and clean house surrounded by flowers and a marvellous swimmingpool. Provisions and sanitary facilities are tiptop. Even one of the three bathrooms has a jacuzzi. Cloths and towels included. We often used the bbq for the fresh fish and meat we bought in Ponteareas. We felt privileged to stay here for two weeks. Everything you could need for a successful holiday was there. A lot of privacy because of the wall around the garden at the streetside. You do need a car for your purchases, it's only a 5-minute drive from Ponteareas. There are nice beaches within 25 minutes and lots of interesting places to visit. We hope we'll come back here many times! This was our first experience with Homeaway and we'll recommend this site and organisation.
