Fully renovated farmhouse and barn with recent new kitchen, bathroom and utility room. It retains many original features and is decorated to a very high standard throughout. It is an extremely spacious property, comfortably housing 10 people. There are 2 double bedrooms and 3 twin bedrooms, with a cot and additional travel cot available. Set in one and a half hectares of private land. It boasts a huge west facing terrace overlooking a secluded heated swimming pool. The house is set in a beautiful location, surrounded by fields. There are no direct neighbours and its very private. The surrounding area belongs to the local farmer and the only disturbance will be from the local cows in the adjoining fields. Nearby are numerous charming Bastide market towns, such as Castillonnes, Villareal, Eymet, Monpazier along with activities including canoeing, horse riding, fishing and go-karting. Chateaux's and vineyards are also in abundance! Available all year round and with new central heating system for winter use. Cosy up to the log fires in the living room and kitchen. Changeover day is a Sunday.

Summary: Six adults and four young teenagers stayed here for a week, if we were not committed else where we would have stayed a month. The house was more than large enough, full of charm and character. It offered a perfect blend of the homely feel and the competent professional touch. The pool was quite something, much larger than we imagined, well maintained and perfectly warm. The area is peaceful and stunningly beautiful. The owners seem to have it all wrapped up from the well thought out supply of kitchen utensils to the great suggestions of places to visit. We will be booking again.

Summary: We have just enjoyed two weeks in Serignac. Both the property and the grounds are very well maintained. The owners have have through of pretty much everything and anything you might need whilst staying there, they were also excellent with communication. In nearby Eymet you will find a really good produce market (but beware of tourist prices!) and there is The Walnut, a fab restaurant which is well with a visit. Bergerac and St Emilion are within an an hour or so drive away and again make for a nice day out, as is the lake at Lougratte (great for the kids too). Thank you to the owners for making our stay so comfortable!

Summary: We spent 3 weeks in this lovely house with a second family joining us for the middle part. The house was very well equipped and was nice to have the kitchen away from the terrace (fewer flies!) The kids loved the expansive living room with pool table and table football and they also loved the swimming pool and large garden. There were lots of inflatables, a large football goal and boules. The garden area was very peaceful with no immediate neighbours and occasionally we spotted deer in the next field! The surrounding countryside was also great for walks and bike rides and the owners had left a folder full of maps and walks. Any problems were dealt with swiftly and we had a thoroughly relaxing stay. Thank you so much for letting us holiday in this wonderful property :-)

Summary: It's the second time we have stayed here so that says it all. Thanks to the property managers and owners for being so efficient when there was an issue with the upstairs toilet! And also friendly Steve who came to clean the pool after the massive storm! Just some helpful feedback - even though you have provided nearly everything (even shopping bags), it would be nice to provide those mesh food covers as there were a lot of flies! We have wonderful memories of our holidays here and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Summary: Our party was made up 9 people aged between 69 and 7. The weather was perfect so we didn't explore the area as much as we expected, however we did visit the nearby lovely villages. It was the perfect location for our grandchildren as the could enjoy themselves and make as much noise as they wanted. We all spent endless days in the pool, which was kept bright and spotless by the pool man Steve. In the evenings we played boules and football or went for walks, there was just so much space around us. The barn was very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped everything we needed! A great holiday.

Summary: Nice well -equipped property with a good deal of living space. We especially liked the comfortable sitting areas in the living area and at the end of the kitchen. The heated pool which is cleaned twice a week was especially welcome during the hot spell at the beginning of our stay. The bedrooms are all a good size. The location means that it is peaceful and undisturbed. Ideal for taking a pile of books to read in the sun by the pool or in the shade of the terrace or hammock. It was great to be able to eat out on the terrace during the warm evenings but we also liked the spacious modern kitchen with a large table for the days when it was a little cooler. The nearest village, Serignac- Péboudou has no shop/bar facilities but there are lots in Castillonnes which is about ten minutes drive away. The house is very well placed for driving into Bergerac/St Emilion/Cahors and visiting local vineyards and villages.
