Beautiful restored farmhouse close to Burgundy and Loiret. Offers 7 bedrooms (4 with A/C), private heated swimming pool and Tennis court in a 10 000m² property planted with many trees.
Courtenay is 110 km south of Paris, via A6 or A19 freeway.
The house is perfect for 14 people. Facing south, very quiet, privacy is guaranteed, perfect for family events, holidays with friends to be relaxed or play sports.
A veranda is facing the swimming pool (security guaranteed), a large BBQ outside waits for you.
Enjoy the music playing by the swimming pool to dance and enjoy a drink or just relax on a sunbed in the shadow of an umbrella or the fresh and natural shadow of the 100 years old walnut tree.
You can play "pétanque" while children play on the swing close to the cherry tree.

Summary: We had such a lovely time. The tennis court and the pool were used every day. Ate every meal outside. House was very comfortable. Good boulangeries and supermarkets near by. Lovely towns to visit nearby too. Thank you.

Summary: We arrived and were greeted by the lovely Antoine and Liliane, who gave us a very warm welcome. They showed us around the property and showed us how everything worked etc. The property and grounds are stunning!! So much grounds, our own veg patch, which the children enjoyed collecting fresh veg for our meals. The pool area was lovely too, lots of room for the 14 of us to spend lazy days around. We had plenty more room in the grounds to play games of rounders and a kick around with a football. Lots of dining areas, both in and outside of the house, and a good sized bbq, which we used most nights. The house was a really good size too. Plenty of room for all of us and all 7 bedrooms were good sized doubles. We had an amazing week, spoilt with so much space and room for all the children to play and run around. We could not recommend this home enough, it was beautiful, and the owners were very welcoming and attentive. We did not want to leave...the only complaint is that we didn’t book to stay longer!! A beautiful home in a beautiful part of France.

Summary: We had the most wonderful week in Courtenay. Antoine took such trouble to contact us before our stay to ensure that we had everything we possibly could have wanted, and then more. It is such a beautiful property - we all throughly enjoyed the pool and made plenty of use of the vegetable patch. What could be more special than a daily walk with the children to choose the veggies to bbq that evening? We had more than enough of everything, and would recommend this property to everyone. Special place, wonderful owner.

Summary: The description of the property reads so well that we were expecting it to be a little of an anti-climax when we arrived. This could not be farther from the truth. The house has been beautifully restored, the added pool and tennis court are immaculate, and it is so well equipped by Antoine & Liliane that everything you could possibly want to enjoy your stay is provided. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a luxury, yet traditional, French holiday.
