Welcome to Finca Manolo, a sympathetically restored Andalucian farmhouse, which was originally our family home, and now offers personalized and individually decorated accommodation (sorry no IKEA here!) with the emphasis on comfort and relaxation.
The Finca offers plenty of outside space to relax and enjoy the stunning views, where mountains meet the sky and olive groves undulate as far as the eye can see!
Inside we have three double bedrooms, (2 with double beds and a twin with 2 singles), the white washed walls are chunky and help keep you cool in Summer and warm in Winter, original features including traditional wooden windows with shutters, beamed ceilings, terracotta floors and an original fireplace with chimney in the master bedroom. There are 2 shower rooms, one ensuite with twin basins off the dressing room. The cosy lounge has 3 leather sofas and woodburner, original cane and eucalyptus beamed ceiling. An intimate dining room leads to the fully equipped kitchen which overlooks, and has access to, the spacious pool area, with sunbeds and straw umbrellas, a covered dining area and outside kitchen with charcoal BBQ, outside sink and hob.
Steps provide access to a roof terrace with table and chairs, especially nice for taking a sundowner and watching the mountains turn pink at sunset, there is a further shaded dining area under the terrace and chill out corner with stone seating.
Finca Manolo has free wifi, TV, DVD player, dishwasher, private parking and a super king size pool (10m x 5m with roman end steps, mosaic dolphin, depth 1.5 to 1.85m so great for diving and jumping in) which one of our guests described as "so lovely to be big enough to float around in without bumping into the rest of the family"!
We are located 7.7km from the lovely pueblo blanco of Colmenar, (no dirt tracks)! the capital of the Montes de Malaga, here you can go shopping and practice speaking Spanish, the people are genuinely pleased to see you and you will soon feel like a local. There are several other pretty white villages to explore and the coast is 45 minutes away. We have a local family run Spanish campo cafe bar within walking distance and there are more places to dine out in the nearby villages.

The property is always comprehensively cleaned between bookings, we have also introduced a 2nd stage disinfectant clean before each new arrival. Cleaning products including bleach will also be at the disposal of our clients for their own use if required.
No contact check in procedure:
This has always been our policy in order to respect our guests privacy, but will be even more relevant from now on, we would therefore like to reassure our guests that keys will continue to be made available for self check in.

"We stayed at Finca Manolo for our second time, for 10 weeks, from December through to February and loved every minute of it. A home from home with everything we could ask for and more.
It's a real sun trap, beautifully positioned, up in the mountains with fantastic old charm throughout.
We enjoyed many BBQ evenings by the pool with the added bonus of an outside kitchen with the company of its two resident cats who are both adorable. We had an amazing time, lazing around and enjoying the peacefulness of the place. The village is very handy and you can get all amenities at very reasonable prices.
Great for couples wanting a romantic retreat or for families wanting to get away from it all but with the bonus of a beautiful pool (although not heated so quite cold in the deep mid winter!) and a hot spa that overlooks the mountains but also very private.
The owners are always extremely helpful with family on hand if needed.
