Summary: Beaverbrook is beautiful. But service (despite plenty of staff) is simply too inconsistent/ poorly trained for the price. Examples include a waitress in the deli being harsh with our 4 year old for sitting in her knees to reach the table, being told to wait 2 minutes for our table but being forgotten for 20 minutes, a room which was much too hot (an resulted in an uncomfortable night) despite having asked for it to be turned down (and told that it had) and promises of things being sorted which weren’t. All left a slightly sour taste.

Summary: Fantastic service and staff incredibly welcoming and friendly. Beautiful grounds but room was very cold and dim. Heating not working properly, not very warm. Although staff did check it, it wasn’t very warm and a draft coming through. Lighting in the room wasn’t working and then fixed but very dim.

Summary: Amazing hotel that offered everything for everyone. The staff are so attentive, the food is delicious. I couldn’t fault it. I have been to stay 3 times and will keep coming back!

Summary: Great, if somewhat curtailed stay - due to social distancing measures in relation to the Coronavirus pandemic. Staff incredibly helpful and didn’t charge for our cancelled activities. We’ll be back.
