Positive: room was ok and clean.
Negative: they are charging a deposit for 100€ (only told me this at the reception and telling me i am getting it immeditaly back after leaving). and they reserve/freeze it on the bank account. i was only staying there for 1 night and i couldn‘t use my 100€ for one whole month after that. i was trying to reach them with writing a mail and calling them. i never got a response to the mail and on the phone the person just said ‚yes i will ask‘, clearly didn’t care and nothing changed. super annoying. if i would‘ve known that i would‘ve rented somewhere else because i really needed these 100€ and the fact that i couldn‘t reach them and or they didn‘t care at all about me asking to please give me the deposit back is crazy.

Positive: Everything is great, except that bathroom is in bedroom without door. The only thing that separates bedroom and bathroom is a glass that is covered with see through painting. It is not bad if you're traveling alone. The staff was amazing.

Positive: B&B 10 Girona is in a quiet neighbourhood and the building is fairly modern outside and inside. The same staff member I checked in was there each morning and evening when I got back and I found them quite welcoming to me in the spanish language. On the first evening, before returning out to explore, the staff member gave me a simple map of Girona and suggested what to see (some places were on my to do list for the next day). The bedroom I had was on the 2nd floor and there is no lift so ask if there are any ground floor bedrooms. The size of the bedroom is really ideal for a single person. I found the bathroom (separated by just a glass screen as in the pictures) as well as the bedroom very clean. I asked for breakfast (from 8:00-10:00) and for 2 mornings I had a table for myself laid with a simple plate and mug/cup and I could choose items to eat from a sideboard although the items on offer were basic and non-branded. The railway stations are about 15 minutes on foot and there is a large El Corte Ingles department store just seconds away.
Negative: The bathroom appeared recently fitted and the shower basin floor surface is very slippery so I was a bit afraid showering as there are no rails to hold on to. Also nowhere in the joint bathroom/bedroom is there a rail/hook to hand up towels. There is no toilet tissue holder either. The rolls of toilet tissue are kept on the shelving unit under the sink. I did find this lack of fittings rather odd. Some floor tiles in the bedroom moved when walking over them. I knew that this B&B was quite distant from the old city of Girona and walking casually it takes about 25-30 minutes. For where it is located I expected to have paid a cheaper price (removing the add on breakfast price paid at check out time).
