Three bedroom apartment, recently refurbish in a charming, modern way. Beautiful glossy state of the art, full equipped, kitchen to prepare your meals, two bedrooms have a double bed and one has a single bed.
The lounge has a white sofa, wooden dining table and chairs to seat up to 6 and a flat screen TV. The flat has a small balcony.
It is situated in the first floor of a 3 stored building.
You can walk to the train station within 10 minutes. Barcelona can be reached within 30 minutes with the new TGV train.
The Costa Brava, with its beautiful beaches is only 30 minutes by car and the Pyrenees skiing stations only 1 hour away.
There are lots of interesting villages and towns in the area, like the Salvador Dali Museum in Figueras and the Castle where he and Gala used to live only 30 minutes away.
The beautiful villages of Besalú, La Bisbal, Olot can be visited in day trips. The beautiful beaches of the Costa Brava, like S'agaró, Pals, Platja D'aro etc can also be reached within 30 to 40 minutes by car.
Girona has a couple of gourmet restaurants and a wonderful flower show called 'Temps the Flors' in May where the streets of the old town are decorated with flowers. It is worth a visit!!
Andorra is only 2 hours by car.
Girona is also a cycling paradise.

Summary: Our stay in this lovely Apartment was really everything what we were looking for. The housekeeper who greeted us was very friendly and the owner of the Apartment was very helpful and informative and replied to all our questions very quickly, something we appreciate a lot. The Apartment had a great location - close to the town center but in a very quiet street and for us with easy access to get out of town on our bikes. The parking close by worked really good too. The Apartment was very suitable for us too, so we hope to come back and stay Again some other time

Summary: The apartment certainly had a lot of 'wow' factor. It was so easy to keep clean with the tiled floors everywhere. Layout was great and we had candlelit dinners most evenings. If using a car it is essential to book a parking place as we saw many cars shunted due to lack of space. We paid extra for an underground space very close to the apartment. We would say that it took much longer than 10 minutes to walk to what we know as the old town. Probably well over twice that and we are reasonably fast walkers. It is convenient for the station and a large park nearby adjacent to the river. We stayed for 9 days and used the local supermarkets although there is a large one to the north, within a 10 minute drive, traffic permitting. Handy for trips to Barcelona (car or train), Perpignan in France(car or train), Figueras (Dali museum) and the coast. many local sites, castles, botanical gardens and even a trip via car to the hills of Andorra. Altogether a lovely apartment, very clean and extremely well presented and very convenient for site seeing the Spanish and French Catalonia area.

Summary: La estancia en el piso ha sido muy placentera, el piso es muy acogedor en pleno centro de Girona. Dispone de toda la equipación y comodidad necesarias. Un piso limpio, tranquilo, con todas las comodidades necesarias. La atención por parte de la propietaria ha sido excelente, el trato personalizado y total atención con cada detalle por su parte. El piso es perfecto para largas y cortas estancias, perfecto para ir al centro de Girona y disfrutar de la ciudad como para salir de la ciudad y disfrutar de la playa u otras atracciones turisticas. La gente muy acogedora y simpatica. Sin duda, volveriamos a repetir!!!!

Summary: nice apartment, well equiped and good customer service. Just a short walk from the old historic centre, many nice bars and shops on the way. We also rented the garage in wich we could park our rental car safely. The location of the apartment is also perfect for getting out of the city and visit the lovely villages and beaches of the costa brava. The airport is just a 20 minutes drive away.

Summary: It was our first experience with Homeaway and we are very satisfied. The apartment was nice and clean. It is well equiped to cook and eat at home. We rented bicycles for 2 weeks in the old town of Girona (Bike Breaks Girona Cycle Centre) and discovered Girona`s beautiful surroundings. We would like to return again in the same apartment.
